4.13| The Vicious Zombie King Chen Hua

"Ice storm!"

"Earth wall!"

"Metal spear!"

Two of those spells were directed to the highschool zombie who was fighting against Yu Xiang, while the other two were directed towards the middle-aged zombie.

They had thought that these spells were enough to finish them, but clearly, they had underestimated these zombies. The highschool zombie's eyes turned scarlet, a deep killing intent bore down on them. Her hands stretched out, and her fists were clenched, in just an instant, she halted the incoming attacks with her power. Then the next second, when she opened her clenched fists, those attacks were repelled by her and all flew in different directions like projectiles.

Some of them were able to deal a blow to the members of Group D, lodging deep into different parts of their limbs. Soon enough, painful groans and shrieks rang out.

"ARGHHHH!"

"M-my leg..!"

Zhu Liwei who saw the situation turned grim. He knew that they had to abandon their plan. He had initially thought that Group D was enough to deal with these zombies as they consisted of two Rank 6 user abilities and 3 Rank 5 user abilities. But who expected that the High-ranked zombies were much more powerful than they thought.

But just as they thought that was the worst it could be, several sounds rang in their ears.

Zhu Liwei and his team looked back, only to find several of their team members laid dead on the ground! Those people belonged to Group C, which consisted of a group of healers. It must be known that although they were the weakest bunch than the other teammates, they were provided with enough ammunition to arm themselves. Yet, when Zhu Liwei and the rest of the people had their attention taken by the fight against the two High-ranked zombies, several low-ranked zombies sneaked in through the backdoor and quietly killed off their members.

It must be known that low-ranked zombies were extremely dumb, and their movements were all controlled by their instincts and hunger. It was impossible for them to sneak in through the back door as they had barricaded the back of the building as well. Yet with several usage of tools, they were able to enter the building without any notice. Not only that, for them to kill the group of healers as soundlessly as possible.

Zhu Liwei trembled in fear as realization sank in.

This level of intelligence...

This level of cunningness...

Can only be found in Zombie Kings!

Zhu Liwei projected a fireball at the low-ranked zombies and they instantly set on fire. Some opened their mouths wide to take a bite on Zhu Liwei's body, but the fire burned their bodies faster. It wasn't long before five scorched corpses laid bare on the ground. 

Even though Zhu Liwei was glad that the Zombie King wasn't amongst the low-ranked zombies, he still didn't let his guard down.

"We will be leaving!" Zhu Liwei roared, "Group B, take one of your members to call back the rest of my group members and Group E. We will abandon this mission."

"What's wrong, team leader? Our targets are right in front of us."

With a solemn expression, Zhu Liwei expressed his thoughts, "I'm afraid that there's a Zombie King who controls these High ranked zombies."

"What?!" Gasps of surprise rang throughout the team members. It was understandable after all they had been sent to deal with one High-ranked zombie, but who would have thought that not only were they dealing with Two High-ranked Zombies, they had to fight against a Zombie King as well.
