Ok well, no one voted for my last post but since I have nothing to do today I'll just write about what I do on my period:)

Ok first things first I'm not the realist. But I usually get my period at the beginning or end of the month. But I stay prepared. I unfortunately have to wear pads so don't judge. Anyways so back to what I do on my period.

1) I shower a lot because I usually feel really gross
2) I try to get as much exercise as I can.
3) I put ice or ice packs on my stomach because I get really warm and it just helps me cool down
4) I drink a lot of decaf tea and water
My teas:
•mint
•liquorice
•ginger
•rooibos
•chai
•green
I get either an organic brand, Presidents Choice or Tazo.
5) I try to stay away from sweets but sometimes you just need all that chocolate, cake and sweets. I personally am very weird and enjoy eating rice pudding... yeah anyways
6) I write down my feelings and opinions in my diary. Sometime I get very mad on my period and I start to feel like nothing makes sense but in the end I know it doesn't matter. Anyways I like writing down my feelings then reading about them when my periods done because some of the things I write is actually very funny.
7) I watch vines. I do this because this is a miserable time in your life so watching vines just helps you get through it.
8) I don't wear jeans. Specifically because I wear these annoying pads-they're like lady dippers. Plus I only have one pair of jeans that actually look good and it's growing a hole so most of the time I wear leggings and track pants.
9) I wear a lot of sweaters to hide my bloatyness
10) I sleep earlier. It feels good.
(I also just started using a period tracker so:) I'm proud of myself )
I try to stay as healthy as I can everyday but especially during this horrible time. I have a diet based off of eggs, whole grain toast, meat, smoothies, yogurt and salads. My Mom does make cookies and muffins but she doesn't use wheat flour she grinds up oats in our Magic Bullet so it's healthier?¿ I don't know , I just feel bloated every time I eat wheat. I try to steer clear of pasta just because I always eat to much of it.
Also, taking iron pills helps too but you might want to ask a doctor or parent before you take them. Iron is in your blood and you're losing blood from your body so I just do myself the simple favour and take the pills.
Almost everything I eat is organic, if I want to eat something baked like cinnamon buns, cake, pie , cookies or muffins- I make it myself because it just tastes so much better than the store bought. I don't buy those box mix's either, I just think they're cheep and unnecessary when you could just buy flour, sugar, butter, chocolate chips and whatever and keep making them fresh. That's just me.
But anyways:)
