"baby, you have to- he isn't coming back. you have to understand that." mark tried to reason with yn.
yn looked at the ceiling, where years upon years of polaroids were placed. multiple of them consisted of yn and her brother, her best friend, and the one that always was there for her. "baby, please look at me." mark practically begged yn to take a glance at him.
"ev-every time i look at you-" yn couldn't even speak without crying.
mark sighed, getting up from the bed. he grabbed his hoodie from the chair, in the corner of the room. he walked out of the room, not saying anything; leaving them in silence. yn cried even more, scared that mark was done with her being so emotional.
that was her biggest fear. she was scared that mark would just get up, and just leave everything behind because yn's emotions were too much.
when she heard the dorm door open and close, yn cried harder. memories flooded her brain of the nights her and mark fought. they fought over what was happening right now. yn wasn't hit with anything when she found out, she was just hit with confusion and anger. now it's turned to depression and tears every night.
mark knew that yn was going to do this, and he hated himself for blowing up at yn when she blew up at him. mark knew she didn't mean to, he knows she never does. yn never even did it before, it was only after her brother passed because she lost someone very, very close to her.
mark went to the 10th floor, wanting to try and see if taeyong could help. taeyong lost his dog, ruby, about a year ago; so he could possibly help them. mark also knew that taeyong cared a lot for yn, and would help in any situation.
mark knocked on their door before walking in. "mark? everything okay? where's yn? shouldnt you be with her?" mark was attacked with questions from doyoung once he walked in.
"i would love to answer all your questions but i need taeyong hyung." mark replied.
doyoung nodded, getting up to go get taeyong from his room. taeyong walked out, seeing mark and instantly he could tell something was off. "what's going on?" taeyong asked.
"yn is- i don't know how to explain it. i'm worried about her hyung. it's hurting to see her like this." mark answered.
taeyong nodded and gestured to mark to go back to his dorm, taeyong following him. they walked back to the 5th floor, walking in and seeing yn in the kitchen. "yn, everything okay?" taeyong spoke up.
yn looked to taeyong and mark, noticing two different emotions coming from them. taeyong didn't really have one, but you could tell that mark was beyond worried. "uh yeah, why wouldn't it be?" yn asked, brushing off the real reason behind the question.
"don't lie to me yn." taeyong replied.
yn looked from taeyong to mark, tears stinging her eyes. "yn, you can talk to us, you don't have to hide at all." taeyong eased, walking over to yn, "please talk to us yn."
taeyong leaned against the counter, close by yn. yn looked to mark and he walked over, "i don't- can we go back to your room?" yn asked mark.
mark nodded and they walked back to marks room. taeyong shut the door behind them, "who do you want to talk to first?" taeyong asked.
yn looked to mark, "can i talk to taeyong first?" yn asked.
mark nodded, "yeah, i'll be out in the living room." mark said, walking to the door.
taeyong sat across from yn, "have you talked to hong joong since wooyoung passed? mark says you won't even talk to him." taeyong said.
"i cant, it's too much to even think about right now." yn quietly answered.
"and it's going to take a bit for you to handle it, but the first thing you need to do is realize everything." taeyong told her.
yn looked to taeyong, then to a picture of her and wooyoung. "yn, it's going to be okay. you have us, and you have hong joong, san, seonghwa... wooyoung would want you to keep going. he would also want you to talk to mark, you know how much he loves mark because of how happy you are now." taeyong explained.
yn nodded, "now, i'm going to go back to my dorm, and mark is going to come back here. you two are gonna finally talk, and everything is going to be okay." taeyong told her.
taeyong got up, going out and letting mark go back in. "hey" mark smiled.
"hi." yn slightly smiled.
"everything okay?" mark asked.
"i believe it's going to be."
