Ryle asked me through the door, "Are you done packing?" I replied, "Yes, I'll be down in a minute, Ryle." I looked at my packed suitcases on the bed and felt a little whimper in my heart. Here it is again, leaving houses and packing up my things. But I should be happy. I'm finally going to Switzerland for the wedding, my favorite vacation destination. But now it isn't just a vacation, it's my wedding day, a marriage that is against my own will. But what can I do? It's my mom's last wish.

After a few minutes, I took my suitcases and my tote bag and brought them downstairs where Ryle and Gretchen were waiting for me. Gretchen rolled her eyes and said, "Took you long enough." Ryle took the suitcases from me and helped the maids put them in the car. I had brought exactly four suitcases. "I was packing last minute," I replied, giving Gretchen an embrace. "I can't believe you're getting married," she said to me, cupping my cheeks.

"At least I know I won't be a single bitch forever," I said to her, and she chuckled, smacking me on the shoulder. She placed her arms on my shoulder and walked over to the car, getting inside with Ryle.

The car soon started, and we were off to the airport. We were flying with Alejandro's family and my friends. My dad was too busy, yet he promised he'd come tomorrow for the wedding. Gretchen's mouth dropped as she saw the private airport owned by the Huxleys. "This is massive," Ryle commented as they glanced out the window.

We entered the gates and drove inside where many black jets were parked, about ten lined up. Alejandro was talking with the pilot outside, who must have been waiting for us. The driver soon opened the car door, and Ryle got out, soon Gretchen, then me. The wind was strong, good thing I was wearing my hoodie. I wasn't wearing any makeup at all right now, and I was in my sweats with my hair in a tight bun.

"Good morning," Alejandro said as they approached us with his parents while the help took our pieces of luggage and packed them up inside the jet. I looked at him with no emotion as he approached me, offering his hand. I took his hand, and he pulled me to his side. I pinched his forearm, and he glared at me. I rolled my eyes at him, not wanting to look at his face.

"Are you all ready?" Maria asked my friends and me. Gretchen nodded excitedly as Ryle was busy looking at Alejandro. "Let's get in, shall we?" Maria said to my friends, who soon followed her inside the jet. "I'll leave you to be," Pietro said, smiling warmly at me before leaving me and Alejandro outside.

He took out a jewelry box from his pocket, pulling away his hands as he knelt in front of me. "Camila Martina Romano, will you marry me?" he asked. I looked at him with no expression. This was embarrassing, look at him kneeling before a girl who was wearing her hoodie and night slippers. After a few seconds, I smiled and nodded. He got up on his knees and smiled, placing the ring on my finger. He grabbed my chin softly, smashing his lips on mine. He kissed me so gently that it almost felt real, yet I felt sick to my stomach knowing that I was marrying him, a sick lying egotistical cheater. Well, technically not a cheater, but still, we were already engaged, yet he had the guts to hurt my feelings on the day when he announced we were official, on the day when he said that he would risk it all to make our marriage a happy one.

"You're a good actress. We could cast a movie, with me as the lead and you the villain," I commented as I laughed in between our lips before pulling away. He didn't answer me. He placed his hand on my waist as we got on the jet where he helped me up.

"A beautiful couple indeed!" Pietro announced as he raised his champagne, hugging Alejandro as Maria embraced me tightly. I glanced at Gretchen and Ryle, who were sitting down looking at me. I winked, and they quickly stood up. "Congratulations! Such a good match," Ryle said energetically. "I'm so happy for you!" Gretchen said to me, hugging me.

Soon the pilot announced we were almost taking off, so everyone sat down in their seats. I was seated beside Gretchen and Ryle as Alejandro was seated with his mom and dad. Soon we were taking off, and I buckled my seatbelt, but it was hard to buckle and seemed kind of broken. Ryle saw me struggling and offered to help, and soon it was on. We chattered around, drinking, and enjoying the flight.

"As soon as we land, I'll be coordinating with the wedding planning team and selecting my dress at the Huxley's atelier. Then, we'll have our rehearsal dinner with all the guests," she said. I felt overwhelmed and fidgeted with my glass of champagne until Alejandro placed his hand on mine, drawing everyone's attention. "What if I take Camila to pick her dress?" he asked, but Gretchen interrupted, shouting, "No! You both should spend some time away from each other before the wedding." Ryle looked awkward, but Maria and Pietro agreed.

Alejandro had some business to attend to with the board once we arrived, so he nodded in agreement. After a few minutes, we were allowed to take off our seatbelts. Gretchen soon slept in her seat while Ryle watched movies. Maria and Pietro were in the bedroom, doing God knows what, but it was none of my business. I glanced at Alejandro, who was busy on his laptop.

I unbuckled my seatbelt and headed to the bar at the other end of the plane. "One martini, please," I told the bartender, enjoying a small antre of fruits they placed at the bar counter.

As my drink arrived, I sat on the couches with a coffee table, admiring the amazing view outside the window. I took some pictures and sighed at the thought of going through with this. However, I wouldn't let myself be unhappy because of Alejandro. This marriage wouldn't stop me from achieving my goals and having freedom. He said that we were just doing this for the family, and my only purpose to him was to be his baby mama. I chuckled at the thought.

Well, he did have good features, and we would have lovely children. But that was a weird thought, and having kids scared the crap out of me. I was scared that maybe I would do something wrong or wouldn't be a good mother.

I took a sip of my martini, lay back on the couch, and soon drifted off to sleep, determined to take control of my life and make it what I wanted it to be.
