4.11| The Vicious Zombie King Chen Hua

Signs of the virus could be seen spreading across his body. Black veins popped up under his skin, his limbs moving at an impossible angle, a low indescribable growl escaped his lips.

The middle-aged man was no longer a human, he had become a fully fledged zombie— a high ranked zombie no less. It seemed that he was much weaker than Chen Hua as he didn't even notice that he was being watched by him.

It must be the high ranked zombie we were told to hunt. Chen Hua thought as he studied the zombie in front of him.

A high ranked zombie was different to a Zombie King. High ranked zombies evolved like humans do, starting from the lowest rank. While, Zombie Kings were born through hatred and malice it experienced back when they were a human. They couldn't evolve and would live with the powers it got for the rest of his life. Moreover, high ranked zombies didn't hold as much intelligence as a Zombie King does. Like for example, the high ranked zombie in front of him had only obtained the intelligence of a 5 years old child despite the fact that it's body was 40 years old. It wasn't able to converse as smoothly as an adult, and still had the curiosity and innocence of a child.

The high ranked zombie continued to jump from building to building. Its long limbs stretched out and its figure spring clear of the ground. It continued to follow the 4 vehicles that aroused its curiosity at an inhumane speed.

Chen Hua detached himself from his mindspace after confirming that the zombie currently had no malice towards them. He didn't bother telling the rest of his teammates about the presence of their target.

"Sit steady." Zhu Liwei whispered and he speeded up the car. He didn't plan to linger in this district as much as he needed to. The moment they finish their mission to hunt the high ranked zombie, he would make sure that they will immediately leave the city as soon as possible.

It was only 10 minutes later that they arrived at their destination. The group parked their vehicles nearby and alighted soon after.

Zhu Liwei saw the two story convenience store that was shrouded in mystery and couldn't help but whisper to his whole team, "Be careful."

Everyone nodded, and their steps became lighter.
