Another mystery to solve

"That's how we got in?" Corey asked
"What is it?" Liam asked
"It's a point of impact from a lightning strike" I replied
"Usually you'd find charred spots like that on the ground after a violent thunderstorm." Mason added
"That's how the Ghost Riders got in. He rode lightning" Scott realised
"If they can use lightning to get past the mountain ash..." I said
"No place is safe" Scott finished
"What about the others? It's my fault they're marked" Corey asked worried and guilty
"We'll find a way to protect them. All of them" Scott said beside me

I was sitting staring at the photos on my wall, I was trying to picture Stiles and Remus in my head, humming the tune to a song I can't get out my head. Did they have blonde hair? Or black? Or brown? What colour were their eyes? Their face shape? Did they have freckles?
Funnily enough whenever I looked at the photos Nyx would start to caw 'Sti' was what he'd repeat. And I'm guessing that's Stiles?

But even weirder I swear I could almost picture what Stiles looked like, but I couldn't even try to imagine up Remus. I hadn't told anyone yet, I need time.
If I can remember Stiles, maybe I can bring him back. I mean.... I'm seeing him in my dreams, or who I think is him, I'm feeling emotions that aren't mine or Scott's, and I've definitely got no control

"Sky! School, let's go!" Scott called me down
I sighed, stopping my song and grabbed my bag and left my search and walked down the hall with Nyx annoyingly flapping around my head
I yelped as I lost control and shifted into a wolf
I growled and picked my bag up in my jaw and continued my previous path, bird with me
"Again?" Scott laughed seeing me and Nyx landed on his shoulder to be let outside for his daily flight
I just barked and him in annoyance, when he didn't stop laughing I bit his knee
"OW! Okay okay, geez." He rubbed his sore leg and roared at me forcing me back to girl
"I hate it" I mumbled and went outside to my bike
"We'll figure that out too" Scott joined me as I put my helmet on and the raven flew off
"Scott, I have. No. Control. At all" I groaned and took off

"It's a relic" Lydia said
"What's a relic?" I asked
"An object with a fixed association to the past. Jakes ID was left behind after he was taken. And Gwen found her sister's bracelet on her bedroom floor." Lydia explained
"How can someone be erased, and still leave something behind?" Malia asked
"A conservation of mass. The total mass of any isolated system remains constant." Lydia said
"So even the Ghost Riders have a weakness" Scott asked
"A relic would be proof that Stiles existed" I realised
"And Remus" Malia added and I nodded
"And maybe we can bring them back" Scott said hopeful

I nodded and followed Lydia to class and began to hum my song again
"What are you humming?" Lydia asked
"I dont know actually it's been in my head for days. I think I remember the lyrics I'll search it up tonight" I told her with a shrug

"You want to search my house?" Sheriff asked
"People are leaving things behind. So if Stiles left anything...." I started
"Why, why would it be there?" The man asked me
"You can't just erase people. They leave things behind" I said
"I couldn't sleep last night. So, um, I got up, figured I'd do some paperwork. The files were in the back of my car. So, I, I go to the garage, and some junk has fallen off a shelf and I, I stubbed my toe on an old baseball bat. Without thinking I yelled a name... " the man sighed and out the library card down
"Stiles" I said breathy

I walked around the house, looking at photos
"Is there anything I can do to help?" I heard Claudia behind me
"No. But thank you, Mrs.Stilinski" I replied turning to her
"Well, good luck. I'll leave you to it" the woman sighed

I stared at where she had been for a moment then I scanned over the room.
And I saw the image of the boy from the last day in the hall, so I followed that hall.
I passed the door, and walked slowly around the corner.
