"What the hell are you saying Aunty Rin?" I exclaimed.

"It's true Ara, you are getting married" she replied in a serious tone.

"What? How can you all do that without asking me?" I shouted back.

"There's no point in shouting, it's finalised," She said as anger filled me.

"And what if I don't?"

She moved a little closer to me and said in a low voice.

"Then I'll reveal that dirty secret of yours"

My eyes widened. How did she know about it? I looked towards her in disbelief and a smirk on her face said it all.

She knew it. And if she made it public, then everything is going to end. The truth is that I've been hiding from everyone. The lie that I've been putting up to make my life normal.
I couldn't say anything, I stood silent. For the first time, I couldn't oppose something wrong.

"Exactly how much money did you spend on dealing with it?" She questioned, leaving me even more shocked.

She is in fact a lady with influence and power and also the rage in her eyes clearly said that she wasn't lying.

I indeed spend a large amount of money and effort without anyone knowing on covering the whole thing. If others find about it, I'm doomed.

"Aunty Rin, please..."

"Please?" She laughed in disbelief.

"You are the season why my daughter is in this condition, you are the reason she lost her love and her whole world was destroyed.. Still, you want me to show sympathy towards you?"

She yelled at my face.

I couldn't say anything back to her. Memories from the past quickly flashed through me.

It was all because of me...

"At least for once in your life, do something good...." She said as tears fumed in my eyes.

She didn't speak for some time, I glanced at her to see tears rolling down her cheeks as well, which were wiped away immediately...

"So..." She said after a deep breath. "The marriage is on..."

"Ready to go?"

Someone sounded from behind making me jump out of my thoughts.

"Dad...I don't know....." I said looking down.

"Look Ara... Thank you for understanding and I'm sorry if it hurt you somewhere..."

"No dad why are you saying sorry?" I asked worriedly.

"I know you didn't want this marriage, because of me..."

I cut him off and said, "No dad.... It's not like that.... Look I'm ok with it..  Alright? You don't need to worry"

He smiled at my words and asked.

"Are you happy my girl?"

"Yes dad..."

I hated that I had to lie to him again. But I was left with no other option.

"It must have been difficult for you, all this happened suddenly, but believe me... In the end, it'll all be good"

He smiled brightly, giving me some hope.

"I hope so" I replied.

"You know what" He said while walking towards me. "You look extremely beautiful today"
