Simi's pov

What a boring Saturday morning. I'm here shopping for cat food and the store is completley empty. This is a doozie considering yesterday was black Friday and things are now sold out.

I love shopping yet have no interest in such daunting days. I am here to pick up my essential stuff. And speaking of essential...who the fuck placed sanitary pads on such a high shelf? Did it not occur to the store managers that women aren't giraffes.

This is awkward because I'm way too short to reach it. I tried stepping up on the previous shelf so I could reach it but I was granted with a fall, which luckily had me landing shakily on my feet. My mind absolutely went black. Should I climb on the trolley instead, I thought pensively...

No need for that because a huge, vein-popping hand grabbed what I needed and handed it to me from behind. My heart stopped beating for a good few seconds. Either a really swift act turned into slow motion or it was just my imagination...

"Here you go." Says a cute raspberry lisped voice with the right amount of hotness to it while he hands me the sanitary pads. Oh my...who is this dear gentleman?

I turn around to be head blown when it's a really pretty face he's got. "Thank you."

"Anytime." He says and saunters away with his trolley, wearing a cute smile.

I've never seen such sweet and visually appetizing man candy in a while now...let alone being being so near to him. No idea how he got into the deserted aisle because I didn't notice anything except for my goal of reaching the sanitary pads. And without any shame he handed it to me. He really is a sweet gentleman.

Quickly, I dashed out of my thoughts to find him in this big supermarket. I won't let him lose sight of me. But how will that work when I'm the one behind his ass? Thankfully, he wasn't gone too far and was picking out spaghetti in the next aisle. There was nothing interesting for me there...except for him. So I stroll past and he notices, fixing me a charming smile again.

I feel butterflies as his eyes are so mesmerizing. I'm actually feeling myself blush. This is not normal adult behaviour. Well...how would I know anyways what is normal adult behaviour when I don't have much experience with dating or knowing about guys in general. I'm a typical pick me.

At the next aisle I got perfume and he stops at the condom section. Now this is interesting...its the best way to find out if he has a girlfriend. He seems to be thinking very hard on whether to purchase it or not. Eventually he leaves without taking any which gives me a sigh of relief...for what reason exactly? Maybe I shouldn't ask....

At the cashier line I stand behind him, minding my own business...when he strikes a conversation with me.

"Are you stalking me, sweetheart?" He asks me with a flirty tone and smirk.

And just as I open my mouth, it's his turn to cash up. I really wanted to sass him because clearly he's as interested in being stalked by me and doesn't mind.

After I'm done cashing he's waited at the exit. Maybe it's a little late for my comeback but sass it is...

"You know there was only one cashier available...so I don't see how that is stalking."

"What about following me through the aisles?" He asks confidently. I really don't have an answer to that. "Are you single?"

"Why?" I'm surprised at his directness.

"Because...you won't leave until you answer my question."

"I'd like to see how you stop me..." I tell him in a bit of overconfidence in which he snatches both of my shopping bags. "Hey!! How could you-"

"So...tell me."

"What if I am...?" I asked back.

"Then you'll have to go on a date with me."

"Okay. Wait! What.?" I was utterly stunned. How could he be so straightforward and I, like a wreck?

"You heard me, sweetheart." He flirts.

"We don't know each other."

"But that didn't stop you from wanting to find out, right? I'm giving us the perfect opportunity to know each other."

"Yeah..." I say awkwardly.

"Good...so give me your digits."

"I don't have a pen."

"Do you own lipstick?" He asks and I had an urge to bite my lip at his question to show him how well my lips look in it. "Clearly, you do." He says with my satisfying reaction. "Open my shirt."

"What?!"

"Unbotton my shirt"

"In front of everyone?" I looked around and it was quite deserted which made him laugh. Aw that's so cute!!

"Write your number on my chest with your lips-" He says sneezing on the last of him words leaving my jaw dropped, he's so daring. "Sorry, I meant with your lipstick. It sounds crappy but I forgot my phone at home and it wouldn't be gentleman like for me to put my number on your phone and command you to message me."

Who is he? The God of chivalry suddenly? I like it that he's so sweet. He looks so irresistible anyways. No girl in their right mind would turn down such a sweet, gorgeous man. It's not like I'm getting dates anytime soon so I quickly searched for my red lipstick in my bag, opened him and wrote over him.

"Simi..." He reads my name from his chest.

"Yes, that's me."

"Sushant." He says and I look up at him. His name adds to his beauty and suits him so well...it amazes me. I zone out staring slightly. "Hello...? Are you okay?" He asks bringing me back.

"Oh...yeah, Ofcourse."

"Why were you staring at me like that?" He asks with his cool smirk.

"I like your name." I admit in all honesty, putting my hair behind my ear.

"I like your name too, sweetheart. It's cute." He says and I blush yet again.

"I should get going." I grab my stuff from him and go.

"So I'll see you tonight." He says which stops me in my tracks. Is he crazy?

"Tonight? When did we decide this?" I turn around and ask him.

He walks close to me. "I decided...right now."

"You don't get to make my decisions." I say dominantly.

"I know, sweetheart. It was a suggestion. Unless you have plans for tonight, I completely understand." He explains himself...hereby making me feel like a stupid now. He handled that very calmly.

"Text me first. Then we'll take it from there." I said leaving. I turned again to see him smile and smiled back.

Okay, tell me I'm not the only one that had this kind of experience? A date with someone I met like...seconds ago. It could either go very well or very bad. No in between. And I better pray that luck is on my side.
