"Alright, listen up," Yeseul barged in aggressively, her tiny nose flaring up as if it accommodated her entire wrath, "just because I know Sangcheol, doesn't mean that I slept with him! What is he, like, a hunk who collects girls as if they were some keepsakes of his masculinity?" She growled towards the end, making the addressed duo tremble in terror.

"What are you doing? You can't say it like that!" Yeoreum whisper-shouted, as a response to which Yeseul could not refrain but elicit an incredulous scoff.

"Well, didn't you just say it too?" Yeseul was consistently running out of her forbearance, more rapidly than she had anticipated she would. The same was beginning to reflect in every sentence that she uttered.

Sangcheol, on the other hand, found himself slinking closer to one of the walls of the very structure that the skirmish was about to break out in— corresponding his movement with every vicious hiss that either one of the contenders aimed at the other. Truthfully, he could infer only one conclusion from their argument, and that was him being at the core of it. Not even him, rather just his name, because he did not remember associating with the mustard hair girl for even once in his life.

"I did— I did but, Sangcheol is my friend! And moreover, I didn't shout it out loud like you did!" Yeoreum snapped, glancing the other female distastefully before the door flung open unannounced, and a petrified Taehyung was revealed from the behind of it. Instinctively, Yeoreum dropped the wrangle in an instant— her action baffling her own self too for it was just a moment ago that both the women were at each other's throats, over an issue that they were not even acquainted fully with.

"TaeTae, how long have you been waiting—"

"What are you doing here?" Wide-eyed, Taehyung unintentionally shoved Yeoreum aside, bringing Yeseul face-to-face with himself. Meanwhile he decided to perfuse his interest only in the weird beggar girl that Yeoreum had naturally come to despise, the latter preferred stooging away from the scene than subjecting her moping face to the male's attention.

She would always choose death over appearing unattractive to Taehyung.

"Oh Sangcheol, thank God you finally came to fetch me. You better pay back all the money you owe me, okay?" Yeseul mocked a frown at Taehyung, bursting into giggles all by herself just the next second, causing confusion to wash all over the other pair's faces.

"Excuse me?" Sangcheol squeaked, drawing Yeseul's heed for a while, only for her to instantly switch her line of sight back to Taehyung.

Taehyung, however, was earnestly lost in the maze of his thoughts— what he should consider doing right then and what not. Befuddled as he was, Taehyung did not realize that a void of words had been lingering in that erstwhile centre of a potential havoc due to his unprecedented quiet. He would meander his gaze from one person to another, his pupils tending to look like wavering because of the very fact. When nothing formed out of thin air despite his relentless brooding over the same matter, he fixated his vision at Yeseul instead, reluctantly opening and closing his mouth as if to relay something very urgent.
