Ode to Queen Elisena
'Tis an ode to the one death had not yet claimed
One who dreamt a life of a higher being
Enthralled in what knowledge had to offer
The incorruptible will soon suffer
Truth as the sordid fate in store
The dream burned before the Queen's eyes
All hope was lost for the multitude
Where sacrifice is the way to rectify
A legacy bestowed to the generations
'Tis a story never sang
For the good deemed by the strong
Alas in our hearts we keep the tale
Carefully thread for the awakening

Queen Elisena is a character from @stephanie_m_young 's books. This is a poem that came to my mind a few weeks after I dreamt of her characters in my dream.
It must be that good for me to see the world she created in my dream.
