Kabanata 10 | "I'm Falling..."
Bumusina si Renuah sa harap ng matayog na gate,at hindi nagtagal nabuksan ito.
We entered the premises and I was welcomed with a beautiful site.
Our mansion is indeed a beauty and pride of the Zamora...But looking at the three story modern house makes my mouth drop open.
The black,brown and white color of the whole house can surely attracts a tons of eyes.
"Bahay nyo to?"I can't stop myself in asking Renuah as he open the car's door for me.
"Uhmm"He hummed.
He took my hand and guided me,as we took the way in entering their house.
Inilibot ko ang mata ko sa paligid and it makes me more enthusias about the aesthetic view of the garden.
"My mom loves gardening."Paliwanag ni Renuah ng napansin nyang hindi ko maalis ang mata ko sa kanilang hardin.
Pero lahat ng pagkamangha ay napalitan ng kaba ng nasa harap na kami ng kanilang pintuan.
I grip Renuah's arm tighter kaya muling nabaling ang tingin nya sa akin.
"U-Uwi na tayo..."Mahinang paki-usap ko.
"Babe, it's okay...Nandito na tayo. You'll be okay,I promise you that."He reassuringly said.
Lumunok muna ako ng ilang beses hanggang sa bumukas ang pintuan at bumungad sa amin ang isang naka-unipormeng katulong.
"Pasok po kayo,señorito... Ma'am."Magalang na anyaya nito sa amin.
I smiled to her like I am constipated.
"Nasaan sina, Mommy?"Renuah asked the maid,and we entered their huge house...No, their modern mansion to be exact.
"Nasa likod po ng bahay si,Madam...Si Sir Rendon po,pauwi palang po...Ang mga kapatid nyo nasa kanilang mga kwarto."She explained.
"Ganon ba, sige salamat po Manang Lopeng."He dismissed,saka nya ako masuyong hinila papuntang ikalawang palapag ng bahay.
I don't know what to feel right now...If I should be amazed how the whole mansion is neatly designed,or be totally nervous about this whole set-up I'm into.
"S-Saan tayo?"Kinakabahan kung tanong.
"In my room."He answered nonchalantly.
Nagpahila lang ako sa kanya hanggang sa makarating kami sa pinakadulong pinto.
He open it,at doon bumungad sa akin ang kulay abong kwarto.
The room is obviously a room of a man, because of it's dark and minimal design.
The king size bed is in the center of the room, and there's a small sala set...Merong ding dalawang pinto,and I'm sure just like my room it's the walk-in closet and a bathroom.
"Let's stay here for a while,you need to be calm first...Bababa nalang tayo kung nandito na si Dad."He stated and sat on his black leather sofa.
Hinayaan nya akong nakatayo sa harap nya at nanatiling sinusuri ang kabuoan ng kwarto nya.
"I don't stay here anymore since I was eighteen...I have my condo,near the school I went when I was in college."Pagkwekwento nya.
"Before you came in the mansion,doon ka tumira?"Tanong ko.
Umiling sya...
"I am a former navy soldier. After I took business administration major, I entered PMA...I don't have a permanent address,babe."Aniya,na may bahid ng biro.
