Caught off guard

i run down the hall and Kurt tell me to stay there for a moment

"guys project 'free Einstein' was a success, i present to you "Andrea Olivia Wright!" he says and i walk through getting cheers and wolf whistling from the club.

"yes yes, hello." i say with a smile, wave then a bow.

"okay guys- Andy what are you doing here?" Mr shue asks

"i still go to the school and honestly this might be my last hurrah before i get shipped off somewhere and never see these people again." i say to him. he looks un impressed but i continue. 

"look Mr shue i know i did wrong but i want to make up for it and if that means competing at regionals and helping us win, hell at least place, then ill damn well do it. excuse my language its just." i begin to tear up "i-i need to do this, if not for everyone then for myself because for the past week I've been at home feeling like a high school drop out with no power over myself but tonight, tonight i want to be the person you need." i say wiping my eyes

"ok." Mr shue says "but i had no clue about this." he says 

Puck turns up the speaker "a mash up of Olivia newton-john and josh Groban. are you kidding me! somebody tipped them off about the judges." he says with anger in his voice.

"guys, we can't get distracted by what the other teams are doing." Rachel says

"we just gotta keep our heads in the game and focus." Finn says looking to me to speak next

"yeah and perform with passion and heart." i say

"even though we know we cant win?" Santana says looking to both Finn and I

"yes." Mr shue butts in turning off the speaker "if this is only about winning for you guys, then i owe you an apology, because I've failed you. and we should just all go home, because it means we've already lost. besides, we have got something that the others don't." he says with a smile 

"what?" Artie asks

"Finns dancing!" Mr shue say pointing to him making us all smile "okay now lets get out there, we got two minutes. aural intensity is almost finished. bring it in come on" he says making everyone put a hand in and we all yell throwing our hands in the air. "Andy." Mr shue says as everyone leaves 

"yes sir." i say 

"I'm worried about you, you know." he says with a real concern in his voice

"i know."

"you better show us what we have missed for that week you were away okay." he says sounding like he want to say more but is to afraid to do so.

i just nod and head into position then i see Santana

"hey." she says timidly "you look great. but how do you feel?" she says asking me the exact same thing she said at sectionals.

i sigh "a lot has changed in that time. at sectionals i was getting blackmailed by sue for smoking weed once and I'm going to rehab next week."

"you are supposed to say I'm also nervous, i cant stop shaking." she says with a smile pulling my chin up so i look at her

i smile back "truthfully, i am nervous."

she smiles and pulls me away from everyone "i know you hate me-"

i stop her by kissing her just as passionately as she did me at sectionals "i could never hate you." i say putting our foreheads together.

"Andy i lo-" she begins but Britt comes in

"come on guys we need to be in position." she say grabbing us both
