The Next Morning

Sasuke's P.O.V.

"Did anyone else go missing?" I asked the local farm girl in front of me.

"No. Just him. I don't understand why you two are looking for that creep anyway." She responded.

Kaori looked at her confused. "Why do you say that?"

"Pft he was a pervert. A real creep. The village was planning to throw that man out past our smoky walls anyway. So what if he's gone."

"Oh ok well thank you for your time miss." Kaori said.

We both started walking back through the village town.

"I guess no one really cared about his death so what now?" She asked me.

"I must return home."

Kaori faced me. "What!? Wait wait! No you can't leave! We just got here! How could you give up right now?"

I didn't know what to tell her. I don't believe her. (Y/n) is gone and it took me awhile to realize that I can't keep holding on to the past.

"Let's go." I say.

"No!" She stopped and crossed her arms.

"I'm not wasting more time let's go."

"No. How could you say that? She's alive! She's here I can feel it! I know it..."

"She's not. Now hurry I will walk you home but I'll be leaving after."

"I said I'm not going! Hey!" Suddenly she yelled as I grabbed her upper arm and dragged her behind me back to her house.

"W-What are doing!? Stop! The leaders offices are that way!" She pointed in the opposite direction of where we we're going. "We have more people to question! The leaders could help us! She was born here and they might know something!" She started to cry tears.

"Please listen to me! Let go!"

I ignored her.

A few minutes later

Your P.O.V.

"Wow I've never seen an entrance like that before." I hear Sakura say behind me.

"Yes it is quite different." I say. "Follow me. We will go to my daughter's adoptive family's house to see if she's there with Sasuke. They're really nice I think you'll like them."

"Ok." She says.

Sasuke's P.O.V.

After walking for a few more minutes I start to see the house we stayed at the night before. But with this child to drag it's taking longer than I liked.

"Please listen! Please!" She started to resist and pull back harder with strength till I had enough and picked her up over my shoulder.

She screamed and kept hitting while crying. "Your horrible! How could you do this!? To me! To mom!"

"Quiet. Your making a scene." I said.

"I don't care! How could you give up on us and move on with another family!? Why! Your a horrible father!"

I grit my teeth. I've had enough. I threw her off my shoulder and onto the ground as she rolled onto her side in pain.

"What the hell!" She yelled. I quickly grabbed her shirt collar and glared at her. "I am not your father. This mission is over. She is dead."
