Part 7

Your P.O.V.

I continued to run till my body felt limp. I was so tired and exhausted and so thirsty. I had to stop.

After taking a quick break to catch my breath I slowly started to walk forward until I heard a small stream noise of water.

I quickly moved closer to the sound ahead and walked through a few large bushes to see a small pond of water and a waterfall.

My eyes lit up in happiness.

I kneeled down by the water and splashed it onto my face.

"Ah this feels good." I said with a smile.

Suddenly I hear another splash of water from somewhere else. I stand up quickly thinking it's Orochimaru but no I see...

"(Y-Y/n)?"

"Sakura." I responded.

She kneeled up from the water and stared at me for a bit.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I should be asking you the same thing. How did you survive? Where were you?"

"I don't need to say anything to you Sakura. At least not yet."

"How do I know your telling the truth?"

"What? Listen I'll tell you everything but right now I'm looking for someone. I'll see you around." I tried to walk off before she runs toward me and tackles me.

"Sakura what the hell!" I scream.

"Don't think you can just walk back into Sasuke's life ok! You left! You left him! You broke his heart!" She screamed.

I struggled to get her off me. "I know that! You don't think I know what I did! To him! To us!"

"You are not going to hurt him again! You hear me!"

"When I said someone I wasn't talking about him!"

"Then who!?"

"It's not your business!" I quickly kneed her in her stomach and jumped far away from her.

"Stay away from me Sakura." I glared at her.

"Stay away from Sasuke then. Stay away from us and the village." She said angrily.

I shook my head and started to leave.

"Whatever." I said.

"Wait!"

I stopped. "What?"

She sighs. "Look I'm sorry I just...I just hate to see Sasuke in pain."

I look back at her. "I do too. Do you by chance know where he is? What he's been up to?"

She paused then hesitated to talk.

"He uh he's still living in Konoha. And he's married...to me. We have a daughter, Sarada."

I felt my face become saddened at what she said. Married. Sasuke is married.

But I smiled at her. "Congratulations. I'm happy he can be happy again with someone else."

She smiled back.

"I'm actually on my way to find him. He left to look for your village."

"He went alone?"

"No he was with this young girl. Kaori."

"Hm. Why would they be looking for my village?" I asked.

She looked reluctant to tell me. "He...he thinks that Kaori could be his daughter."

"Oh." Suddenly I went scared.

"So...is she...uh...were you pregnant with his child?" She asked nervously but I know she already knew the answer.

"...yes..."

She nodded and began to cry.

"I found out I was pregnant when I was with the Akatsuki. I gave up my daughter to my village with another family for her safety. I'm not too worried about Sasuke right now. I know he has his own life with you and your daughter. But I just want to only see mine right now. We can talk more later. But I must go find my child."

She nodded. "I still need to bring Sasuke back. Sarada is stressing without her father. Maybe we can help each other out? You don't want to be out here traveling alone (y/n). Your gonna lose your energy."

I guess she's right. I thought. I used quite a bit of my powers today that I could use a little rest or break just in case I run into trouble.

"Plus I really need you. I won't be able to find Sasuke in your village without someone who has Tsuki blood. Naruto told me about it."

"Right. You'll need me to get in."

She nodded.

"I guess we could travel together. It'll be a little over a day till we get there."

"No problem we can handle it." She said.

I nodded.

"We should probably get going then."

She smiled and walked beside me as we began to catch up on old memories.

Kaori's P.O.V.

"Ah it feels good to be home! Your gonna love it here father!" I said happily while dragging him along behind me.

He didn't say anything. He just looked around curiously.

What is this man thinking?

Sasuke's P.O.V.

(Y/n)'s home. I can't believe it's here. In front of me. She said she would one day bring me here. I guess in a way she still did.

If only...she was here too.

Could she really be alive?

There's no way.

"Father look!" I hear Kaori say. 'Father.' I'm not sure yet how I feel about that with her. Is she truly my daughter?

I look ahead to see a huge walkway of waterfalls and gardens. Village houses and huts with simple villages   all through the walkways with vendors and shops. Everything was simple yet beautiful. It wasn't anything modern but very traditional.

"I'll have to introduce you to my adoptive family. They're really nice. I'm sad to say though that I'll be leaving them to stay with you and mother." She says.

"We don't know anything yet." I responded.

She didn't respond.

We walked for a few more minutes till we got to her home. We stood out front as she knocked on the door but nobody answered.

"Hello anyone here!" She opens the door and let's me inside with her.

"Hello!! You guys I found my dad!"

"I don't think they're home." I said.

"Yeah looks like it. Let me check the kitchen!" She runs out the living room.

The house was comfortable. Very peaceful. There was many pieces of art around the room and symbols I've never seen before.

Then I noticed photos on the shelves.

I observed the photos of Kaori of when she was a baby and her adoptive family holding her.

I don't believe it. She looks so much like (y/n) as a baby too.

I hear Kaori running back.

"They left a note for me! They've gone on a trip for they're farming business in another village while my brother is away for training. He wants to be a village guard."

"Hm." I nodded.

"Well I guess we can just wait here then."

"No. We have to start asking the villagers around here about any clues to Orochimaru and that guy who went missing."

She groans. "Come on it's getting late! Let's do it tomorrow! I can make ya dinner!" Excitedly she runs back into the kitchen.

I guess she's right.
