Chapter 26

"Are you going to do anything special with your friends?"

"Atsumu called me at midnight saying he would take me somewhere, but I think that's about it." You say while grabbing your phone to check the time.

"That's nice, I have to go to work now but I'll make sure to bring you a cake for later." She says while giving you another hug before exiting the room.

Finally finding the energy to get up from the bed, you head towards your closet in search of an outfit to wear. Grabbing a pair of black baggy jeans along with a brown sweater vest and white long sleeve, you head into the bathroom to do your morning routine.

After you were done taking a shower, you applied some lotion to your skin along with some perfume.

Slipping on your outfit, you brush out your hair, brush your teeth, and clean your piercing.

Looking in the mirror, you decide on applying a simple black eyeliner with mascara.

Exiting the bathroom, you check your phone to see that it's 10:37 AM. Sitting down on the bed, you grab the tray of food your mom prepared and start eating the pancakes and fruit slowly while scrolling through your phone.

As you were replying to a few people who wished you a happy birthday, a notification popped up on your screen saying Atsumu was trying to call you.

Swiping the contact, you bring the phone up to your ear.

"Hey, are you ready to go?" He says. "I'll be at your house in 3 minutes."

"Oh yeah, I'll start heading out now." You say while hanging up, and quickly chugging down the drink on the tray. You grab your keys and wallet before walking downstairs.

Approaching the door, you open it to see Atsumu extending his hand out to knock.

You laugh before locking the door and stepping outside.

"Ready to go?" He asks while walking down the steps.

"Yup."

Time: 10:58 AM

"May I ask where you're taking me?" You ask the blonde as you walk down the streets of your neighborhood.

The morning spring breeze hit lightly against your skin, the warmth from the air leaving a soothing sensation. The familiar sounds of people peacefully conversing as they passed by the both of you was comforting.

"Just the café, It's my treat since it's your birthday." He says while making hand guns and shaking them around.

You laugh as you continue walking.

While you were walking, you stopped and noticed that Atsumu's footsteps had halted in place and the sound of his footsteps was replaced with a very faint gasp. Turning your head, you see Atsumu staring at something across the street, or more like someone.

Averting your eyes away from the blonde you look across the street and see a girl with long flowy black hair walking with a few bags in hand. She had her earbuds plugged in and continued down the street.

Looking back at Atsumu, you could see a very faint blush appearing on his cheeks.

Smirking to yourself, you walk over to him and rest a hand on his shoulder.

"So, what's her name?" You say while glancing up at him.

"H-huh?" He says while snapping out of the trance he was in.
