I Don't Do Love...

Meet my twin sister, Erin: Ego the size of Texas, tough nut, and total badass. And my partner in crime- also known as Dagger. Moves as swift and sharp as a knife and a stare as cold as ice. We only learned from the best though.

The doorbell rang but I only stood frozen cold at it,"I'll go get it." Erin said.

Chase's P.O.V-

something about her was off today, her usual gracefulness was replaced with hard swift swift moves and when she opened the door she gave me an ice cold stare. There was a cross tattooed on her arm that I hadn't noticed before, and a silver, barrel of a gun? gleamed from the waistband of her pants. Sure the Kayla I knew was tough but i never expected her to carry a gun around with her wherever she went. There was a permanent scowl on her face. 

What happened next was what suprised me, instead of saying hi with her warm smile, she called upstairs,"Kayla. Your friends are here!"while keeping her cold glare on me. Jessica ran inside, past Jeremy and I and hugged the replica of Kayla standing in front of us,"Erin!"

The girl in front of us had a harder voice and a slightest British accent in her tone, only noticeable if you really payed attention,"Hallo love. Kayla being good to while I was gone?"

Jessica smiled,"Of course. How was your trip?"

Erin shrugged,"Lots of cute guys."

Soon the Kayla I knew walked down the stairs, with her usual playful smirk and graceful steps. No ink covered the inside of her arm, there was no gun gleaming from her body.

"Meet my twin you guys." Kayla smiled an evil smile, the smile a villa would normally smile in a movie before killing someone. 

"Twin?" Jeremy asked clearly as suprised as I was.

"Where was your twin during the beginning of the school year?" It wasn't that I didn't believe Kayla, but I just really felt like getting to her today. I was hoping she would see the show I put on today at school at her locker with Britney. But when I turned around she wasn't there.

I stooped low, but last night when I talked with shadow I realized how much I actually liked Kayla. But it also made me realize how much I liked Shadow. They were almost like the same people but in different bodies. I thought maybe if I distracted myself then I wouldn't be feeling these things. It's obvious that Kayla doesn't feel the same about me, and her sister all ready hates my guts!

"Hey Cooper! Don't think that because I wasn't here I don't know what goes on!" Erin snapped from my comment,"I don't like annoying dicks!"

"Wow. I see calling me an annoying dick runs in the family." I mutter to myself.

Kayla's P.O.V-

"You outta shape yet sis?" I asked Erin as we geared up. Tonight was the first night we were actually going out together after two months.

I should be asking you that." Erin smiled reloading her gun.

I strapped knives into the insides of my boots.  "Yeah yeah. Whatever. Let's just hurry. I have somewhere to be tonight."

This raised the eyebrows of both Jessica and Erin,"Oh yeah. And where would that be?"

Jessica answered for me,"she has a date with Chase tonight."

"It's not a date." I jumped quickly,"It's just a meeting. And plus, I'm going as Shadow."

This time I was the one to be late,"What happened to being on time?" Chase smirked at me.

"It's nice to know own you didn't follow me again. It's too dangerous out there for you." I said simply.

This seemed to amuse Chase,"Whatever you say," he saluted.

I smiled and dropped my gaze to the ground,"So I saw that little show you put on at school today. By Kayla's locker."

It was too dark for me to see but I'm pretty sure that Chase was blushing. He sat down beside me, our legs dangling from the edge of the roof,"That was- I didn't mean for that. Well I did but I regret it now. I only did it to make someone jealous."

I don't know why I cared but I did,"Who?" there was a little unintended harshness to my tone.

Chase looked at me with a smirk playing on his face,"Have you ever loved someone so much you'd do anything to be with them?"

"I don't do love." I answered with no expression.

"Well  I do. But it's kinda hard to figure out.  It's like playing a game that you don't even want to play but somehow you need up playing it anyways."

"Who's your love?"

"Well..." he took a long pause before answering,"I really like Kayla...but I don't think she likes me back."

All I could do was stare in horror. Chase liked me. Chase Cooper liked me?!

"But wait there's more."

There's more!

"I like this other girl too. They're just so much alike." Please don't be my sister. Please don't be Erin,"I think I like you to."

Erin would have been better any day.
