Into the "Unknown"...

Chapter 24: "Just have to wait and Plan"

I look at Jake thoughtfully. "Look Jake I need to go meet Chace and tell the others as well, but if you need me just come to me you're my best friend I'll be here for you" I say honestly. Of course Eleanor and Zayn were super close to me but to me it was something different Eleanor was like that fun little sister and Zayns like the troublesome, hilarious older brother you couldn't help but love, whereas Joey was like that best fried who you needed to go to every now and then and could just hang out with. Jake smiles. 

"Chace huh?" he says. I blush a little. He pats my back

"Why you so embarrassed you guys make a cute couple and one that definitely took longer than I thought!" Jake says looking slightly shocked. I smile thinking back to yesterday then get up. 

"Well I'm of then" I say. As I walk towards the door Jake calls to me. 

"Oh and Aria  Chace knows that I remember" I turn to face Jake from across the room my hand on the door. 

"How" I say. Jake frown deepens

"Ask him" he says, and I leave it as that, I will. I leave Jake in the self defence room and head to my own which is empty, I need to get changed out of my sweaty clothes. As I do I think of Jake he definitely has got a lot on his mind not only is there Camilla for him to think about but he just told me a secret which could probably get him in serious trouble by the school. Maybe worse, Suddenly I feel guilty as I realise what can happen to him form tyring to help us out, but ultimately it's not just me or Chace, Zayn or Eleanor it's for everyone here and everyone that's yet to come if we can figure something out we can change things for the better. For know however we're into the unknown and that's just wishful thinking. I walk towards the bedside table to get my locket I forgot to put it back on after replacing it with my collar necklace yesterday. I Open the top draw to find it's not there. I shake my head starting to panic. "No, no, no, no, no" I say as I look to find it's not in the bottom draw either. Ok I need to stay calm Eleanor probably has it to keep it safe or one of the boys put it somewhere. I nod trying to believe it then push it out of my mind, Right now I have other things to focus on.

As I walk down the beach I see Chace his knees bent in front of him looking out in the ocean. I smile as I approach him. "Hey" I say my smile growing wider as I find him looking back at me also smiling that gorgeous smile. I look at the forest near us. It's been three months yet I still can't get used to the odd combination of the way a typical woodland looks right next to a mostly sunny and bright beach. I don't want to tell Chace anything here with so many kids around us. For some reason even in the day not many kids bother to come out in to the forest.

Chace nods knowing roughly what I mean so he runs fats in to the woods. I shake my head then zoom in after him enjoying the breeze hitting me hard as I run fast level with him. Eventually we both stop in the middle somewhere. 

"Sorry I'm late" I say feeling bad not knowing how long I made him wait. Chace shrugs moving closer to me wrapping his arms around my waist. "It's alright you're worth the wait" He says I can tell he's just trying to make me cringe with the cheesiness. I laugh "You do know I hate how cheesy you sound" I whisper back. Chace grins, "I know" he says and kisses me on the lips I kiss him back pushing him against the bark of the tree, He stops for a little then looks at me with a smile. He then grabs my hairband holding all my hair together forgetting to let it lose after self defence. Chace then opens it letting all my hair fall down in it's soft curls down below my shoulders. I frown a little. "I prefer it like that" He says, I smile shaking my head then go back for another kiss, we stand there for a while as we are until I eventually pull away. I smile wow, after months of trying to admit to myself how much I like him I finally have and suprised myself, no wonder it was so obvious to everyone else. I sit down on the flow my back leaning against the bark of the tree. Chace does the same. "Zayn has been at me the entire day" Chace says thinking back I laugh. "Thankfully Elenaor didn't have any lessons with me otherwise she would definitely do the same" I say laughing but also can feel the dread building up knowing what I have to tell him, I'm stalling right now not wanting to ruin our moment but I can't stall forever. Chace looks at me distracting me with his deep blue eyes. "Aria I know somethings up, I could tell last night and again in breakfast today tell me" Chace says his voice soft. I knew he noticed. I nod looking down my hair falling in front of my face, almost acting like a shield. Chace moves my hair away from my face and tucks it behind my ear I look up to look at him and let out a deep sigh. "Ok look yesterday when I was dancing he let something slip, actually it was on purpose" I say. Chace starigtens up at the mention of Liams name. "What did he say" He asks.
