Chapter 16. 'Vardhan Sir!'

Nishi says with her narrowed eyes, looking at Antrika as if talking to herself, "Really! No matter where you go in the whole world, people are crazy!" Then Nishi leans to Antrika and says still narrowing her eyes at her, "What do you think this is, a movie set? This is real life and ऐसा सिर्फ़ फ़िल्मों में होता है या stupid TV serials में, real life में नहीं!"

[ Translation : "What do you think this is, a movie set? This is real life and it only happens in movies or stupid TV serials, not in real life!" ]

"That means. . . . .you will not take revenge on us?" Asks a boy from his seat.

Nishi scrunches her nose in irritation and says getting irritated with the headache and now with these stupid questions, "What's your name?"

The boy gets tensed as he exchanges looks with Rishi and Advik. Then he decides to answer turning to her as he licks his lips in nervousness, "Suhaas Gupta."

She smiles at him animatedly and then says getting irritated, "Suhaas! Trust me, if you will not shut your mouth right now then I'm going to take all of your pens and I will throw them in your mouth."

Suhaas gulps hardly. She says further in an irritated tone, "Why would I take revenge for something which has not even effected me even a bit?" They get shocked hearing that it didn't actually affect her. She continues, "And even if it would have affected me then for your kind information, I'm never going to waste my precious time to take a revenge over something that doesn't make any sense to me! Do I look like a kid to play revenge-revenge with you? Now, don't irritate me, I'm already having a headache here!"

Antrika immediately goes back to her seat as all of them sit straight giving her some space and being shocked that it didn't effect her actually. They all were now happy finally knowing that she is not gonna do anything like their stupid assumptions.

"What a crazy bunch of people! Assuming nonsense things! Feels like I'm on Mehak Kapoor's stupid TV serial sets!" Nishi mutters under her breath shaking her head which makes Garima and other girls hear that and giggle at their own stupidity.

The class starts as Miss Nupur Das, their Chemistry teacher enters.

After the class, the bell rings and they start getting ready to attend their next class without any delay as the entire college knows how their Maths teacher is who also teaches the college students here. They take their books and move quickly for their next class to another classroom. Nishi stands at the end of the queue to which they feel guilty but no one dares to say a word after her outburst which some of them found cute and others amusing.

They all take their seats. Nishi sits alone. Most of them were afraid of her now. She was writing her name and details in her notebook when she notices someone standing to find a seat here and there, it was Arika. There were no seats left except Nishi's seat.

Arika comes in her direction without even glancing who is sitting there. When she stands near her seat, she blinks as if calculating what to do. If it would have been someone else, she would have sitted by now but . . . . When Arika just stares between her and the seat, Nishi looks at her and says, "You can sit here. There are no seats left." Arika starts fidgeting her fingers in nervousness making Nishi sigh and say, "I will not eat you, just sit here, the class is going to start." Arika sits with Nishi quietly as the class starts giggling at Nishi's words. It was too odd to see the bully of their school hesitant for ones.
