Aizawa heard about what happened only hours after all the excitement was over, and he was livid. Not as livid as Endeavor, but still.

He would have strangled Shine and Wally, but one look at them, and he knew better than to push his luck. Shine looked pretty buzzed after everything, and Wally was not in a very laidback mood.

Todoroki was still waiting for Momo to wake up, so Aizawa found him in there, but laying into him seemed kind of cruel under the circumstances, so he let him off with a "we'll talk about this later."

Bakugo and Camie disappeared as soon as they saw Aizawa coming.

But hearing about Miss Joke was quite a shock to him--more of one than he expected it to be, and Recovery Girl didn't have any explanation to offer him, except the LOV.

Aizawa thought of all the things he'd like to do to the League if he ever got the chance again.

Why was he never around for these attacks anymore?

When the two girls finally came out of it, they had very foggy memories of what happened. They knew it was Toga, but not much else was clear.

"I can't believe she posed as Camie again," Momo muttered.

"I guess she did steal more of her blood..." Shoto said.

"You didn't have to wait here," Momo said, though she was flattered.

"I didn't want to do anything else." Shoto saw nothing odd about that statement.

Momo turned red. "Oh..."

"All of it was for nothing though," Shoto sighed, "They still got away... I really thought we had them...but then they just let them go. We could have got Dabi at least. He didn't seem to be feeling too well. Wally could have."

"Isn't that against their code? You know they said they wouldn't," Momo reminded him.

"Yes, I'm still not okay with that," Shoto grumbled, "But at least we're all safe...for now."

Momo bit her lip. "Maybe... But what happened after we, uh...were apprehended?"

"That's...hard to explain. I don't even know all of it yet, but something really strange with an earthquake..." Shoto began.

Over the next day, the students gathered from various sources most of the details and compiled them into a decent narrative of what happened. But none of them understood it. Even Camie was "totes tripped out" over it, in her words.

Miss Joke couldn't go to work that day because of lingering effects of the drug, and Momo was sick part of the day too, though not too badly. She got excused.

Miss Joke just stuck around UA because going all the way home was more than she felt up to, by train or even car.

Shine took care of her and also apologized for leaving her hanging, though Emi didn't blame her for it. "It's not like you planned it."

"Well...actually, I did," Shine said.

"But you didn't ditch me on purpose. It was all over the place," Emi countered.

"Yeah...well, I'm glad you're not angry at me," Shine said, "That's more than I can say about Mirko."

"Did she contact you?" Miss Joke said.

"I got a very tightly worded text that she wants to meet up when I get the chance," Shine said, "and I don't think it's to congratulate me. Between her and Endeavor, I don't know how many more angry top heroes I can take."
