One Shot 10

Cole cringed hearing the shelving hit the wall within Tia's room. He was angry, Jay's room met the same fate. After he found the note he was even more angry. Cole quickly advised any of the maids, butlers, and blood providers to go out of the mansion. The other vampires stuck around just in case their King wanted something.

Zane was not pleased with the King. His promise broken, and his desire to protect his blood provider and his brother he had hidden away with Nya as her own blood provider. All four were out of the house at the moment.

Cole cringed hearing something hit the window itself. He was so angry now. He wondered just what would change his mind? He really wished he could deter him from desiring to harm either of them. He had seen Jay as a brother for several years now and Tia was incredibly nice to him and his blood provider. He didn't want either to be harmed.

Cole jumped hearing Garmadon open the door with a loud kick. The wood splintered against the wall and landed on the ground with a great thud.

"Your majesty?" Cole asked bowing low to him. He needed to show him as much respect as he could.

"I don't want to fight him right now Cole. It's no damned good to do so when we need to plan. But plan we will..." He stomped down the stairs and up toward the roost. The falcon boy looked up from his wing as he was asleep before. Garmadon held out a letter for Wu.

"Take this to my brother in the air temple in the heavens." He growled watching the falcon run out of the roost and take to the air. It would take time for the letter to get to him, so all he had to do...was wait.

Jay watched as Wu walked back inside. He felt Tia's hand incircle his as they walked toward the gardens. She loved the flowers. Although the flowers there grew so much better and brighter there than at the manor.

He smiled seeing the large golden fountain spraying glittering water onto the large clam shell tub. The angel that scooped the water up seemed to be able to spray water onto the flowers and they sprang anew.

"Wow..." Jay whispered looking at Tia. "The sun isn't even out yet, and the flowers bloom so brightly." He turned around noticing the only tower he saw was barely visible over the tree tops and it belonged to the castle itself. The very top of the castle was a bright emerald and gold. It glittered as if it were wet from the rains. But it hadn't even rained and wow the windows looked as if...

Jay squinted as he watched the top doors open to see two angels flutter down with swords and shields. He almost looked possessive of Tia for a moment.

"It's alright, they're likely off to patrol. They are guardian angels off to do their jobs out there." Jay looked at Tia as she shook her head.

"I'm not like them. I'm more of a healer." She giggled. "I don't do much of that." She giggled looking around at another flying by that was a little smaller. "There are many different kinds of angels people see as fairies too. They see what they want, and believe what they will." She smiled watching a dog run by and then take flight as well.

"Each one with a job to do?" He asked, looking down as another looked a bit like a tooth fairy. He chuckled at the thought and wasn't sure if that was what it actually was. "What about cupid?"

Tia giggled. "We leave the love stuff to them. The thought of an angel flying around in a diaper is hilarious." Jay couldn't help but chuckle.

"Oh we better get inside." Jay said as he held his hand out for Tia to guide him inside. He wasn't sure where to go in that huge castle. It looked roughly like the fire temple.

Tia took hold of Jay's hand and they ran back inside.

Wu chuckled as the two barely made it back inside after the sun began to lick the front steps. He was holding a snuffer in one of his hands putting out the candles over the entrance hall.

"Just in time." He put the stick down in a closet and motioned for them to follow.

Jay couldn't help but look at the pictures along the walls. He didn't know who any of them were, but each one seemed to depict some great feat an angel did for a human. But each one was done without the human knowing. Most of which were either curled in, or turned away from them. He looked at Tia who looked down at her feet. She didn't look up at the pictures.

"It is only a matter of time...before my brother comes for you two." Wu had stopped in front of one of the paintings. It was of Wu and Garmadon as boys. Garmadon even had a smile on his face. An odd vision for one to behold.

"Was coming here a bad idea?" Jay asked. "We could run elsewhere...far away. Maybe the desert?!"

"It doesn't matter where you run, my brother would automatically assume you are here or being hidden by the humans. Either one he will use to start one of his blood wars." Wu sighed as he turned and opened a door. "I don't want a war, so many innocent angels will be harmed. I must speak to my brother and try to make things right." Wu sighed and bowed to them. "Excuse me."

"Of course." Tia took Jay's hand and began to lead him toward the rooms. It was bedtime, even if they couldn't sleep over the fears they had to at least try.

Wu heard the flapping and the light tapping of the falcon talons. He turned around to look over the young falcon male. He didn't seem threatening, actually he seemed a bit scared.

"Mean isn't he?" The boy rubbed his cheek and nodded. The young boy held out the letter to Wu but also made to run if Wu moved too quickly. "It's alright, you can put it on the table and go. I won't follow. Wu said kindly to him. The boy put it onto the table and ran, slipping on the marble floor and scrambling out the window again with a loud call like he screamed.

Wu chuckled as he opened the letter. He read the few words on the accusing letter before putting it down.

Wu walked over to his window and took flight. It wasn't far, just within the woods there once was a lake where they went fishing with their father long ago. The lake had long since dried up, but the island still held the gazebo where he and his brother used to hide.

Wu landed and walked up the steps. Under the roof that now had many holes sat Garmadon at a table adorned with a tea set, flowers, cakes and sandwiches. It looked like a normal tea party. If he didn't know any better it was an act of peace. But Wu knew better than to hope for the best.

"Good morning brother."

"How are you even out in the sun?" Wu asked

"A magnificent gift your angel gave me...since I drank her blood I'm able to come out in the sun." Of course he didn't tell him it was for four hours only. Wu looked troubled by this.

"As you can see we have the means to attack whenever and wherever we please now...brother." he spat the last word. Wu sat down and sighed.

"Please brother, stop this horrible hatred. You are only hurting those you see close to you. Jay only wants to live with Tia, a peaceful existence...and the humans have done nothing wrong."

"Nothing wrong!? They attacked the manor only weeks ago! I have every right to start a war with them. If you do not give me back my son, and my blood provider I will come for them...and I will bring all of my army to do so."

"So you will destroy the whole of creation for the word of someone, and the lives of just two people?" Wu asked, standing up sighing. "I am sorry brother. I can not help you." Wu closed his eyes

"Of course I will brother...don't forget...I own them. Thanks to this unfair gift father bestowed upon me." He growled as he watched his brother leave. "War it is brother!" Wu took flight hearing the loud roar as Garmadons power tore the gazebo to pieces with his anger. He left nothing more than a crater in his wake.
