Mash: "Who's...going to tell him?"

Gudako: "Shhh, nothing to tell him. Let's just let him waste his time."

Jeanne: "Y/N, it might be a tricky path, but I shall support you no matter what!"

Y/N: "Oh yeah! That's the spirit Jeanne!"

All celebrating, a familiar being raised from dead...well...rubble.

Demon Alter.

His entire left shoulder was dislocated, no more good for use. He could barely walk, but that would be fixed in a few minutes.

Walking away from the rubble, he was still in his form, and decided to use magic.

If he can't get all of them, at least get one.

Holding out his hand, a small purple magic blast was aimed for...Gudako?!

Meanwhile...Y/N's spidey sense was tingling. He sensed pure malicious magic.

Seeing it, no one had noticed it! Gudako's back was turned, giving an easy target!

Gudako: "Maybe with these quartz a new summon will open up! Hopefully I can get Y/N Alt...I mean some good servants!"

Artoria's eyes narrowed to meet Gudako, but the master herself dodged the gaze.

Gudako: "Y/N-"

Y/N: "For honor!"

Y/N shoves Gudako away as the magic blast hits him...

He falls on the floor groaning as his body could barely move.

Jeanne: "Y/N!"

She's the first one to check after Y/N, helping him get up.

Y/N: "O-ow...that hurt. No, like really, really hurt. Good thing my Luck and Endurance came through! Don't know where i'd be without those!"

Jeanne: "Y-Y/N..."

Y/N: "Huh?"

The Ruler backs off holding her mouth as Gudako and Mash's eyes widen.

Artoria had not believed it herself...

This calls for Y/N's heart to start accelerating at the sight of everyone looking at him.

Ba-dump! Da-dump! Ba-dump!

Y/N: "Uh...sorry guys. My heart is beating quite loudly..."

Artoria: "Is that because it's right there?"

Y/N: "Huh?"

Pointing at his chest, a gaping, see-through hole was found. His heart attached by only one string.

Gudako knew it. If Y/N receives one more attack, blocked or not, countered or not...

He's dying.

Y/N: "Oh shit, shit shit shit."

The Lord of Cinder starts freaking out as Demon Alter appears.

Demon Alter: "I told you! I will win! I will avenge my pride! Starting with, him!"

The group scatters as Y/N dodges out of the way for an heavy swing.

He can't do much movement, or his heart will literally fall out, and not even The Flame can help that one.

Y/N draws his sword and gets into a stance.

Y/N: "If I can't beat you! I'll die trying!"

Demon Alter: "Yeah...about that..."

It's too late. Y/N dodges out of the way as a spike manifested of pure magic erupted from the ground.

Y/N: "Hah! Nice try! Letting you know with my personal skill I get to dodge every attack I see before it happens! Sometimes the feeling drives early or late, most of the time late, but it still works!"

Demon Alter: "Oh really?"

Suddenly, Y/N's body was pierced with random swords and spears, greatly injuring him.

His Battle Comtinuation had gone far enough, he couldn't battle anymore.

Jeanne: "Y-Y/N!"

Gudako: "Y/N!"

Gudako breaks into a run, but is held back by Mash.

Mash: "Senpai...i can not allow you to get hurt. He protected he as good as he could."

Gudako: "MASHU! LET ME GO! HE'S GOING TO DIE!"

Mash continued to restrain Gudako as she saw the servant himself slowly die.

Y/N: "O-oh...no...th-this is bad...really bad...koff...I...should've seen it...coming..."

With a spike protruding from his back, I guess you could say that Y/N.

Demon Alter: "I told you. Should've joined my side. But indeed, it's too late. Goodbye-"

Demon Alter realized he stopped talking. Y/N was already dead. Pale skin, the fire no longer burning throughout his armor.

It was like...

A fire went out.

The spike faded away and Y/N's body roughly hit the ground. His armor faded away off him as anyone could see his eyes.

Lifeless.

Gudako: "Y/N!! GET UP!! PLEASE!!"

No movement. No answer.

Where's his Phase 2? It should be activated right away right? So why isn't it...?

It said when Y/N is defeated...not killed. Same thing though, right?

His phase 2 doesn't activate even when he is dead? So that means...

He's gone.

Gudako: "Y/N!!!"

Crying, sobbing. Two emotions Gudako and Jeanne felt right now.

After dying in the Great Holy Grail War, then dying again in a singularity? Jeanne didn't have any time or chance to further improve the relationship...and it made her feel as if she took it for granted.

Gudako? She had not established a close relationship but felt as if they were already close. Gaining such a strong servant...yet to lose it in battle. The curse of a glass cannon.

Artoria: "Y-you bastard! I'll kill you!"

In blazing speed, Artoria struck her sword multiple times at Demon Alter, who took the brunt of the attack.

The battle had moved somewhere else as Mash consoled Gudako. 35 quartz down the drain...

Y/N: "Trust me. This won't be the last time you see me..."

Those words rung in Jeanne's head, her eyes widen still to see Y/N's body unmoved.

Jeanne: "Y-you pr-promised me...Y/...N...you promised me you'll stay alive!!"

No movement. I mean...he's dead. Dead men don't walk.

Walking towards the body, she couldn't help but cry even more.

Jeanne: "Y/N! Y-you promised me! We didn't talk much, fight together, or have fun...please! Y/N! Come back!"

No movement.

Jeanne couldn't help but feel useless, she had two opportunities to save Y/N.

And failed both times. (A/N: Give her an F-)

What would be now, for the future of this battle?
