Kate pulled me into her car and drove off.

"Where are we going?" I curiously asked.

"You'll see."

She stopped in front of someone's house.

I was really confused until I saw one of my other friends from Starbucks exit her house.

"Hi Kate! Hi Julia, Happy Birthday!" Nicole said.

"Thanks!" I smiled.

Kate took us to the cinema to see a film I've been wanting to see.

"3 bags of popcorn and 3 sodas please." Kate told the employee behind the counter.

He handed her the bags and 3 empty cups.

We walked over to the soda fountain and filled our cups with the soda of our choice.

"I can't wait to see the film!" Nicole exclaimed.

"Me either!" I replied.

We followed Kate into the correct theater and found three empty seats.

I watched the previews as Kate answered her ringing phone.

"Yeah... yeah.... okay...." She said into the phone's speaker. Kate turned to us. "Uh... I have to leave... there's uh... an emergency... I'll be back to pick you guys up later!" Leaving quickly and waving to us, me and Nicole turned to each other and shared the same look.

*Niall's P.O.V:*

It was 1:00 exactly. Where's Kate?

She had exchanged numbers with me earlier that morning, incase I needed to call her about setting up for Julia's surprise party.

"Hello?" She answered my call.

"Where are you? It's one already." I told her.

"At the cinema, I'll be right there."

She finished pretending there was an emergency so Julia wouldn't get suspicious and hung up.

Kate eventually showed up at my door with decorations, and I let her in.

She looked around my flat and began speaking.

"Okay, streamers can go here and I can put food and beverages over there on that table, and then this can go next to that..." She spoke quickly as her hands pointed in all different directions.

"Whoa, do you always speak this fast?"

"Sometimes..." She shrugged as she began hanging up streamers. "Now make yourself useful and start cooking what's on that list over on the table. By the look on Julia's face, she really liked the french toast you made this morning."

"Yes, your highness."

I began baking and cooking what was on the list while Kate decorated every visible part of my living room.

After an hour and a half of preparing for the party, Harry showed up at my flat.

"What's goin- oh yeah, Julia's party..." He said.

"Hi, I'm Kate." She introduced herself and stuck out her hand. "I'm gonna need you to go get Julia and her friend at the cinema. The movie is probably over so hurry up!" Kate rambled. Before Harry could respond, he was shooed out the door to pick up Julia.

"Wow, you like to get right to things." I laughed.

"We can't waist any time!" She laughed back as she hung up the last decoration. "Done!"

"I'm almost done." I pulled the tray out of the oven.

"Good! I texted everyone your address and they should be showing up soon!"

I finished the food I was making, just as people started showing up.

I introduced myself to whoever I didn't know, which was everyone. Everyone Kate invited were Julia's friends from work so I didn't know them.

Once whoever was invited had arrived, we found hiding spots and dimmed the lights.

*Julia's P.O.V:*

Wiping my tears as the movie ended, I checked my phone.

From:

'Kateeeeeeee;*'

~'I sent Harry to pick you up!'

What? She's friends with Harry? Since when?!

Something's definitely up.

To:

'Kateeeeeeee;*'

~'okaaaayy!'

Nicole and I waited outside for Harry to pick us up.

That was odd. I was really curious as to why her and Harry had begun talking, not that I care, I'm just curious.

Harry pulled up beside is.

"Get in the car, I have candy." He rolled his window down and spoke in a monotone voice.

"Very funny. Ha ha." I pretended to laughed as I got in on the passengers side.

Nicole sat in the back behind us. She was silent. But then again, she's just a quiet person.

Harry rolled down all the windows. Normally, I wouldn't mind, but Kate spent a long time doing my hair and I didn't want it to get messed up.

"Harry, my hair is going to get messed up!" I scolded, rolling my window up.

He turned his head which had a smirk and amusement plastered across his face.

He rolled the windows down again.

"Harry, I am the birthday girl, and I demand that you roll the windows up!" I laughed and then pouted.

We fought over the windows for the entire ride back.

"Remind me to never get in the same car as you ever again!" I laughed as I got out.

"It wasn't that bad!" He said.

I glared at him and he put his hands up in defense.

"Niall wants you to come over so he can give you your gift." Harry stated as he stood by Niall's door.

"Fine." I walked over.

"Ladies first." Harry gestured for me to open the door.

As I slowly pulled the door open, the lights were off.

I knew it.

I knew it.

I repeated that phrase over again.

As I walked in, the lights were turned on.

"Suprise!" Multiple voices said in unison as familiar faces appeared from behind furniture.

My face was bright red.
