Maya smiled as she looked at the baby monitor showing the fast heart rate as she looked over at Josh. Smiling at the sights of her ring it made it a tiny bit less awkward when she tells people she and Josh aren't married yet.

"So, how have you been doing these last two weeks?" the doctor asked.

"Not too good. I have extreme nausea," Maya said.

"Hyperemesis gravidarum. It's very normal. Some woman get it a lot during their first Trimester. I can give you some medication that is pregnancy safe. It won't harm the baby. How are you otherwise feeling?"

"Really good," Maya said.

"Now, in 3 weeks we can do tests to determine the sex of the baby. If you want. Otherwise we can find out at 16 weeks," she said as Maya looked at Josh.

"I think we'll wait for 16 weeks. I have to tell my family as well so it will give me time," Maya said.

"Okay then. I'm going to get the medication for you then. Other than that I want you to eat food which is rich in Iron because you have a lack of it. Spinach is a good iron food."

"Okay," Maya said.
