" Ok , " - I picked a few pop corn and threw it in my mouth .

" Fine , the nausea and headaches are better but I still can't sleep . " - Obviously since it's almost 11 .

I still couldn't sleep and the movie was over .

Tears went down my face as I slept on the tummy of my cat trying very hard to sleep .

Thoughts emerging upon my suffering .

Should I call my sister ?
But then if I do she'll make me leave this country and I don't want to leave yet .

What should I do ?

" Pakeeza ? " - I opened my eyes to find Damien looking at me concerned .

" Want to talk ? " - I looked at the clock and nodded yes . It was 2 : 25 in the morning .

" Tell me about your family. " - he sat on my couch , happy that there was distance between us .

I wiped my face and smiled .

"... My family is messed up . " - I laughed .

" Why ? " - he looked at me confused .

" ... * Sniff * Let's see , I'll give you five facts about us . "

" 1 . None of my family members was born a Muslim . "

" Really ? So at what age did you convert then ? "

" I fully converted when I was fifteen , my sister and husband converted at seventeen . "

" You shouldn't stare at me for long , Damien . "- I caught him looking but instead of looking away . He continued staring into my eyes.

" Fine . "- I smiled looking away .

" I'm not looking ! "- he had a smirk on his face .

I shook my head feeling a lot lighter and sleepier .

" So how did your sister get so many friends ? "

" I have heard their story multiple times but I can't narrate it now , its a really long story ."- I laid down on my couch , Damien moving so I could stretch my legs .

" Wow , I bet you're happy for your sister and her husband then . "

" Funny thing , I really didn't like Malik . * Laughs * I thought in my young mind that he took advantage of my sister being naive . "

" Why would you think that ? "

" Because when my sister got free from my father's clutches , she hadn't stepped outside for the past sixteen years and was new to so many things ."

" I really have to hear the story . "

" I'll tell you one-day * yawns * "

" Actually yes , I Misjudged him fortunately . He's a really great guy and I'm happy for them . "- I yawn again , my eyes feeling heavy .

" You know , now I've come to realize , I have the most complicated , messed up family anyone could have but I've received love , the crazy stories , my sister's rude mouth back then . * Sigh * I'm really happy in my . * Closes eyes * family just wish all this would end because it's draining me emotionally .

I tried to open my eyes to continue the conversation but I was to sleepy .

" Sorry , Damien . " - I mumbled cuddling my cat .

" Don't worry about , thought what I was doing was obvious . " - I felt warmth surrounding me , I smiled pulling the blanket to cover my neck .

" Thank you , "- I mumbled once again .

" Don't mention , after everything you've been through I have faith you'll overcome this one too . . . Good morning . "
