Chapter 4

Eithan's POV

As I arrive home, I saw Izzy sitting on the couch while talking to someone over the phone. I didn't bother her and just went to the kitchen.

Dadalhan ko na lang siya ng tubig. Nagsalin ako sa isang baso at pinuntahan agad siya sa living room.

Napangiti ako nang makita siyang natutulog na sa couch habang nakasandal lang.

I also noticed her phone is still on when I placed the glass on the center table. I grabbed her phone and talked to the girl she's talking to. Nalaman kong babae siya dahil nabasa ko ang contact name niya.

"Izzy fell asleep. I'll hang up now." Saad ko at binaba na ang tawag. I didn't wanna talk to her. Iaakyat ko pa si Izzy sa room niya dahil baka mangalayan siya dito at lamigin.

I noticed what she's wearing.

Damn.

Saan ba nagpunta 'to nang ganito ang suot? Hindi ba siya kinakabag dito.

Kunot noo ko siyang inakyat dahil na-badtrip talaga ako sa suot niya. Don't get me wrong, she can wear whatever she wants as long as she's comfortable but I still have the right to be annoyed okay.

Marahan ko siyang hiniga sa kama niya at binuksan ang AC.

"Why do you look so fragile in my eyes." Mahinang sambit ko dahil baka magising siya.

I suffered for so many years because you're not beside me. I don't wanna leave you ever again.

After a few minutes, I left her room and went to my own. I'm gonna take a shower first before heading out again.

Kaya madalas akong wala sa bahay ay dahil maraming inaasikaso si dad sa business namin at tinutulungan ko siya sa ibang bagay.

May party kami ngayon para sa nalalapit na opening ng branch namin dito. This isn't fun at all, I'll be talking to old people the whole night and Dad will introduce some girl to me.

I flirt with different girls I meet but I don't like entertaining girls my Dad introduced to me.

I'm wearing dark grey suit and just a white button up shirt with two undone buttons. 

7 pm ang start ng party until 9 pm but I'm sure people will leave before 9 so I'll sneak out then.

I arrived late at the party because I don't wanna listen to my father's speech. Everyone was eating when I arrived and there are performers on stage to entertain the guests.

"Eithan, you're here." Bati ni Dad na may ilang metro ang layo sakin at nakatayo sa tabi ng isang table.

Lumapit siya sakin at sinama ako sa isang table. He introduced me to his business partners and bragged about my achievements.

I tried to smile every now and then for my dad. After an hour we finished going to different tables. I met 5 young ladies already and I don't like any of them.

I was standing alone sipping wine when someone bumped into me. Natapunan ako ng konting wine dahil doon.

"Shit." I cussed under my breath.

"Omg. I'm sorry! May kausap kasi ako sa phone and hindi kita napansin dyan." Saad ng babaeng nakadali sakin.

"It's fine." I said while wiping my shirt with napkin.

I ain't lying when I said that. It's not that bad plus this'll help me get out of here.

"Are you sure? I'm really sorry hindi ko sinasadya. Let me pay for it." Aniya.
