Piper's POV
I unlocked the door of my house and the me and the guys went inside.
"My dad is at work, he'll be home by 5."
"Woah! Your house is neat, Piper!" Percy Jackson exclaimed.
"Thanks!"
We all grabbed our books from our backpacks, along with the papers that had all our research, ideas, and notes.
"Alright then, boys, let's use our brains!"

After an hour, Jason's brain died.
"Jason, does it make sense to you now??" I said to him.
"Uh, maybe? Well, no. The amount of events and things that happened here is confusing me and why should we even add what happened before the volcano erupted?!"
"Because we need to add the order the events in chronological order! Before, during and after! Do you want a good grade or not?"
"Yes I do want a good grade, but why add nonse-"
"I could try and help Jason understand. I'm OK in History." Percy interrupted.
Me and Jason kinda looked at him, Leo was in the bathroom.
"Yeah, Percy, help him. He's pathetic on his own"
Suddenly, Jason seemed to turn red to me.
"W-well, yeah I'll appreciate the help, Percy!" Jason forced out.
It finally clicked to me.
Jason has a crush on Percy!
The amount of happiness I felt for Jason was amazing! I just really hope they both become a couple. They will definitely look cute.
Unfortunately, Percy's phone buzzed.
Percy took a look at it and put it away.
"Sorry guys, my mom wants me home."
The blush on Jason's face faded a little, he didn't liked that.
"I'll see you guys at school tomorrow!" Percy said while putting his books away.
"Yeah, see you at school tomorrow, Percy!" I said and made a side-eye at Jason.
"O-oh! Yeah, see you tomorrow" Jason stuttered out.
"See ya!"
And with that, Percy left.
I wonder how Jason is gonna confess to this kid.
Percy's POV
I left and walked into the comfort of my home.
"Mom! I'm home!" I yelled out, kicking off my shoes.
Mom was in the kitchen, making something for dinner.
"Welcome home, Percy."
Uh-oh.
"Um.. Did I do something wrong? Am I in trouble?"
She came out from the kitchen.
"A text? Really? You could've called me and told me if you could go to a friend's house! I don't want the same thing happening like last time."
"OH! SORRY! I forgot!"
The last time I texted Mom that I was going to a friend's, it didn't send for some reason and Mom called the cops because she thought I got kidnapped.
"I'll let it slide this time, but remember next time."
"Yeah, no problem, mom."
"Good, now go do your chores-
The doorbell ranged.
"I'll get it!" I quickly said. Just to escape chores for a bit.
I opened the door and Annabeth was there, she looked nervous?
"Oh! Hey, Annabeth, are you okay?"
"Um, Percy can we talk in private really quickly?"
"Sure, Annie."
I stepped out and closed the door behind me. What did Annabeth wanted to talk about me about? And her face...
"Percy, we've known each other for a really long, long time and the first time since we met, I.. I developed feelings for you.."
I just.. stared at her.
"Annabeth, you-"
"I like you, Percy! I like you a lot!"
