The next morning, Lu Lixing woke up early, washed up, and headed for the company. As soon as he left, Ji Qingqing carried her suitcase out and bid farewell to Old Lu and Aunt Pei.

“Qingqing, remember to take care of yourself when you’re outside alone. Don’t tire yourself out.”

“Grandpa, you too! You must take care of your body. I’ll be back in two to three months. Aunt Pei, you should take care of your body too. I will rely on you to take care of grandpa as well.”

The driver put Ji Qingqing’s suitcase in the trunk of the car and then drove her to meet up with Qin Yue at Tianyu Entertainment.

Due to the instructions from the higher-ups and from seeing how well Lu Lixing treated Ji Qingqing, Qin Yue was now extra careful when he managed Ji Qingqing’s affairs. He had personally accompanied her to meet up with the crew.

The plane will depart at 12:30 and it will land at 4:30 in the afternoon. Currently, it was almost 5:30 at the hotel. Since it was already quite late, the crew decided to postpone their plans until the next day.

Lu Lixing received a call from Chen Shuyi.

“Lixing, there will be a reception at the company tomorrow. It will start at six o’clock in the afternoon, so please check with your schedule to see if you have the time to attend.”

Lu Lixing glanced at his schedule. It was obvious that his assistant already knew about the reception in advance since he had left an empty slot at six o’clock tomorrow afternoon in his schedule.

“Do I need to bring a female companion to the reception with me?”

Lu Lixing frowned, “How long will she be gone?”

“I believe the filming will take one to two months.” Chen Shuyi jokingly said, “Are you feeling impatient now that she’s gone? If you are, then you can just board a plane and go find her. Since the two of you are newlyweds, it’s not good for the two of you to be separated for a prolonged period of time.
