nini arrived to set the next day, taking her time as she held her script and bag in her hands and made her way into her trailer
she got herself changed and went towards the makeup trailer where she saw kourtney, ej and dani getting ready
"hey neens!" kourtney beamed as the brunette girl sat next to her
"where's gi?" nini asked confused
"she doesn't have any scenes today since we're doing all the ones that go into the new trailer for season seven," ej explains
nini nods in understanding and put on a small smile "okay. so, what's up guys?"
"nothing much, how are you?" dani asked cautiously, nini instantly knowing as to what she was referring to
"i'm-okay. i mean, okay as i can be, i guess." nini said with a small shrug
"if it's any comfort, i already hate her," ej told her, making nini laugh and the other girls shake their heads with smiles
"that's sweet ej, but i'm almost one hundred percent sure you or anyone could never hate her." nini replied
just then the door of the trailer opened and in walked ricky.
she met his gaze in her mirror, the boy holding his breath as they looked at one another; he hasn't been able to contact her about anything for the past two days and knew she wasn't as okay as she was showing off to be.
nini gave her boyfriend a small smile when seeing his face. she knew he was worried about her. so, to ensure him, she made sure to show that she was okay.
ricky returned a smile of his own, making his way towards his makeup artist.
he quickly picked his phone up when seeing her on her own phone, opening up her contact on messages and texting her.

ricky shook his head with a small smile as he turned his phone off and got up, all ready for the next scene as he made his way towards the brunette girl sitting in her chair who was currently scrolling through her instagram home page.
"boo," he whispers, sitting next to her
nini looked up at him "you've never been able to scare me," she reminded him before stifling a laugh as she got a good look at the boy "i mean, at least until now."
ricky gasped "excuse you, but this happens to be a very good look for me."
"yeah...okay." she grinned
he mirrored her expression and reached for her hand under the table, intertwining their fingers together as he rubbed his thumb over her skin comfortingly.
"you're sure you're okay right?" he asked quietly
nini took a deep breath and smiled "i'm fine. plus, we have work together now, and we can at least show our friendship publicly, right?"
ricky nodded "yeah, exactly."
"and we'll still facetime every day." nini adds "even if we're not really allowed..."
"three hundred times at least." he agrees with a smirk, making the girl giggle softly "i love you." he hums
nini felt her heart warm up as she looked back at him "you already told me that."
he nods "i know, and i'm going to keep saying it."
she smiled at him "i love you too."
"ricky, they need you out on set four," one of stage managers called when briefly entering the space
nini glanced at the boy and nodded "go," she encourages, ricky getting up and scanning the trailer to see the makeup artists busy and no one looking at them before he quickly leaned in and kissed her forehead, making her smile widen at the gesture before he left.
she felt her smile fade slightly as she looked back in the mirror, taking a deep breath.
