Part Twenty-Five: The Argument

L: idk I just tried to ignore it but that was awkward...

Jess: yeah you think? I feel really bad for coming tonight I honestly didn't know it was a date.

L: omg no worries! I don't mind you and jordie coming. It's just a little weird to me that Tyler and Kate are here.

Jess: he was parked out front when we got here.

L: that's so weird like why are they so interested in me?

Jess: well you are hot af

L: I don't think that's why. Should we start making dinner? I mean I'm not hungry but what do you want to eat? I can make almost anything just depends on what Jamie has

Jess: I don't care about the food. I want to know about the date spill.

I told her about what happened leaving out is kissing. I didn't want it to be weird plus I really just met her.

Jess: he really likes you. Trust me I know. Mainly because he doesn't really try. He usually just takes them out to dinner and that's it.

L: I guess we are both trying.

Jess: omg yay!! I actually like you!

L: ahaha thank you I like you too

Jess: sooo how did you end up cutting Jamie's hair?

L: oh we were finished eating and then I asked if I could and we went upstairs and cut everything off

Jess: so beard or no beard?

L: I like it either way but I'd say beard

Jess: he looks good without a beard though. It's been a long time

Jess and I were just having some small talk sipping on some wine when we started hearing arguing. We get up and walk to the door and see it's Tyler and Jamie.

We walk outside.

J: what's wrong with you?

Tyler: you're so secretive like why won't you just tell me?? You keep acting like now that your in this relationship or whatever that you don't have time for me!!

J: I just started seeing her and I don't even get one night to take her on our first date. YOU had to come and interrupt us!

Tyler: that's because you were acting as if you had a prostitute in the house before!!!

I actually choked on my drink.

Jamie looks over and shakes his head.

J: what did you just say?

He was weirdly calm now.

Tyler: I didn't call her a prostitute. I just said you make it seem like it's some weird affair.

Jamie takes a breath.

J: there is a difference between me hiding her and me just wanting our relationship to be private. If you have a problem with that then stop asking. I don't like the gossip and I don't like the drama.

Tyler: what gossip??? What's drama???? YOU are the one who creates it!!!

J: you and I both know what I'm talking about and if you don't you're an idiot.

Tyler: are you talking about Kate? She's not going to tell Katie.

J: but she is man. Why does anytime another girl is around me Katie shows up? Who do you think tells her??? My best friends girlfriend is a rat who tells my ex everything about my life. How am I supposed to move on and live my life and be happy if I keep having to deal with my ex?
