Part Twenty-Five: The Argument

Tyler: you know the flowers, projector, etc

J: umm not a lot. I just asked Cam and he had a lot of this stuff already.

Jordie: not going to lie. Jamie this is really nice. Like A LOT nicer than anything I've done for Jess

I ignore what he's saying because I know Tyler is going to say something and I just don't want to hear it.

Tyler: so is this like a first date?

J: yeah

Kate: how lucky...

I don't really like Kate. She's kind of dumb and she always make weird comments.

I just nod and excuse myself and walk over to Lucy and Jess who are sitting on the couches outside.

J: who's watching Billie?

L: omg I forgot about the baby!!

Jess: omg yeahhh we just left her there sleeping with a monitor! Wow

Lucy and Jess start laughing

J: I hate the both of you.

I sit down next to Lucy and put my arm around her

Jess: Lucy and I were just talking about the trip!

J: shhhh don't tell Tyler or we are stuck with Kate

Jess: oh shit you're right everyone SHUT UP

Lucy starts dying laughing and moves closer to me to rest her head head on my shoulder

Jordie, Tyler and Kate come and sit down

Lucy catches her breath and so does Jess

Lucy moves away from me when she notices Tyler starting.

L: are you guys hungry? I would offer you left overs but Jamie and I ate everything

J: I mean I have groceries but we would have to make food

Tyler: what did you plan for rn for Lucy and you if you didn't have anymore food?

J: we had a lot of food I just figure we would either get more food, or Lucy make me food or we would just eat some snacks

L: what's wrong with you? I'm not making you food anymore.

Jordie: that's not fair. You can't deprive people of your cooking

J: that's what I told her and she says I only like her because I like her cooking

Kate: so how many dates until you usually cook for your boyfriends Lucy?

L: umm I usually don't....

Wait what? Why didn't she? I was about to ask but Kate beat me to it.

Kate: why not?

L: umm idk they never really asked or cared. They liked going out or they had their own cooks. They were never really food people.

Jess: well you know Jordie and Jen won't shut up about your cooking so you want to go inside and we can make something? I'm kind of hungry and I'm sure Jamie has some food in the house.

L: sure sounds good to me

Before anyone else could say anything Jess was already grabbing Lucy's hand and dragging her inside. I'm assuming because Jess does not like Kate.

Jess had dragged me inside to make food.
