You know that moment when you feel as if the possibilities are endless and nothing can go wrong? Well, that's how I'm feeling right now and it feels great. I have a wonderful job, a family that supports me, and best of all, I have a boyfriend that I am completely and utterly in love with.

I pull into the driveway of my boyfriend's house, the car screeching to a halt because it's old as dirt. I seriously wonder sometimes whether or not, I'm going to die in a fiery explosion because my car is death trap on wheels. I turn the car off and look over to my passenger seat, which has a bouquet of white roses, laying on it. My heart starts beating a million miles an hour at the possibility that this all could go horribly wrong and me ending up forever alone. I take a couple of deep breaths to calm my nerves, grabbing the roses as I get out of the car. I head to the front door, checking my outfit as I go because I want everything to be perfect for tonight.

I ring the doorbell and take a couple of steps back, feeling like it's prom all over again. Seconds are ticking by, sending my nerves into overdrive. I start to panic when the door opens and standing in its wake is the most beautiful person I have ever laid my eyes on. His piercing green eyes send shivers down my spine as if he can see right through me. He smiles, which brings out his dimples, making him even more beautiful than before if that's even possible.

"Hey, babe" He says

"Hi, you look beautiful." I reply

"You don't look too bad yourself." Harry chuckles

"These are for you." I hand him the roses, our fingers touching as he grabs them.

"Thanks, Niall" He says, bringing the roses to his nose, smelling them.

"I'm going to go put these lovely flowers in some water." He turns around and heads into the house with me following not far behind. I shut the door behind me and turn to see Harry's bum in the air because he is looking for a vase to put the flowers in. He finds one relatively quickly and fills it with water then puts the roses in it, arranging them the way he wants.

"So, what are the plans for tonight?" He asks me as he finishing up.

"It's a surprise" I tell him smiling.

"Oooh" He laughs. His laugh makes me smile every time I hear it, it is such a joyous sound. It makes me love him even more. I remember the first time I heard it and I decided right then and there, that I would do everything in my power to make sure that sound was a constant in my life.

"Niall, babe?"

"Hmmm?" I respond

"You spaced out, you dork." He giggles. I blush knowing that I have a tendency to do that without realising it but Harry doesn't mind. He looks at me, his eyes full of affection. I feel a smile begin to grow from the corners of my mouth and I let it take over, grinning from ear to ear and he smiles right back.

"You ready for the night of your life?" I ask him, holding out my hand towards him.

"Never been more ready." He takes my hand, the touch sending electricity through my body.

"Okay, let's go" We head out to the car and I lead him to the passenger side, opening the door for him.

"Why, thank you kind sir" Harry exclaims dramatically, placing his hand on his chest. I roll my eyes at him, smiling.

"You're welcome love."

I close the door and head over to my side, but not without hitting my leg on the bumper. Shit. I groan internally and see that Harry is laughing at me in the front seat. I playfully glare at him and get in the car. The car roars to life when I put the key in the ignition, a long bang fires out of the exhaust pipe causing Harry to jump. He looks at me nervously and is probably thinking "Oh dear, I'm gonna die in this piece of shit car, save me now."
