Adam dropped me off at home first. I walk in to see my mom on the couch. I know she saw me get out of Adam's car. "Y/n, what have I told you?" She stands up coming towards me. "I'm sorry okay! I just wanna be with the guy I love." "If you keep sneaking around with him, you'll be kicked out. If you can't follow my rules-" I cut her off, "Geez okay! I'll stop..." she hugs me and I hugged her back. I really missed her. We were doing so well before she left. "I know it seems like I'm ruining your life but I have a good reason keeping you from him. I just don't want to tell you yet." She kisses my forehead and goes to her room.

I go to the kitchen and grab the big box of macaroons I bought the other day. I've been craving them like crazy. I take a few and head up to my room. I start doing my homework when I get a text from Adam

Bby❤️‍🔥: Hey loser

Y/n: Hey ugly, what's up?

Bby❤️‍🔥: How you feeling after today? Wanna skip tomorrow and talk?

Y/n: No, I'm actually fine I think. Just tired and I still don't feel too good.

Bby❤️‍🔥: Didn't you go to the doctor? What did they say?

I totally forgot I had told my friends I was gonna go to the doctor when I was feeling super sick.

Y/n: They said it was just a cold🤷🏽‍♀️

Bby❤️‍🔥: Alright we'll call me if you get need anything. I'm at practice now but I leave soon. I love you ;)

Y/n: I love you too <3

I finish my homework and go to bed. I was so nauseous, I didn't wanna be up for another minute.

The next morning I went downstairs to get something to drink before I got ready. While I was walking down the stairs, it looked like the whole house was spinning. I ran as fast as I could into the bathroom and make it just in time. I was in there for a while. When I walked out I saw my mom standing there with a pregnancy test in her hand. She doesn't say anything to me and just gives me it. I take it and try to close the door but she watched me as I took it. 'What if it was positive?' 'What would she do to me?' 'Would she kick me out?' 'Would Adam leave me?' All these thoughts were going through my head. I didn't even realize the test result was already on the stick. I didn't want to look and neither did my mom. "Y/n, I won't be mad if it's positive. I promise." My mother says and it calms me. I grab the test and take a look, "I-it's positive." I look up at my mom and she starts to cry. I do the same. "I'm sorry ma! We were careful I swear!" She turns away. "I know you were. Your not stupid. That's why we're gonna make an appointment for you to get an abortion." She says blandly and walks away. "Wait! I never said that's what I wanted. You can't make that decision for me" I raise my voice at her but still try to keep myself calm. "Hm maybe you are stupid then because your crazy if you think a 16 year old boy is going to want to raise a kid with you for the next 18 years. HES A KID! You're a kid." She was right. Adam isn't going to want to do this. There's so much he has to look forward to and having a baby is going to ruin his life. "You were 18 when you had me. That's only a two year difference" "Look around Y/n! Do you see your dad here?" She yells and now, she's starting to get angry. "Look, just go get some air while I make a few calls." She opens the front door and I leave. I run straight to Adam's.

When I get there he's getting into his car. "Y/n? Did you run all the way here?" I pant as I walk up to him. "We need to talk. Now." He opens the passengers door and I get in. He gets in the car and begins to drive to school. "I'm not going to school today, I'm gonna need you to drive me back home." He looks at me confused, and parks on the side of the road by Lake Harriet. "What's going on? You look scared." I turn to him and he turns to me. "I'm pregnant." His expression doesn't change. I have no idea what he's thinking.
