Chapter 7- He kissed me

He kissed me. His hands around my waist while my hands around his neck. I pulled him closer to deepen the kiss. I don't know if this was right or wrong, but it was a feeling which I never felt before. It was euphoric. Moments later, we pulled away. We both looked into each other's eyes, unable to do anything.

"Secretary Y/n, I'm so sorry... I was very... stressed... bio and.. I couldn't" he couldn't form words and tried to explain it with his hands seeing which I chuckled

"Mr. Vice Chairman, it's okay. But is everything okay?" I asked and he shook his head in a 'no'

"Secretary Y/n. The new medicine released by our company's bio is said to be containing drugs but we tested it and it showed no side effects. People who were drug addicts in the past are showing side effects because of their history with such medicines. If we don't do anything, the company will suffer a great loss" 

"Mr. Vice Chairman. I'll get the evidence ready by day after tomorrow and hand it over to the investigating officer will that be okay?"

"But for that we need a doctor's statement that it is drug free"

"Mr. Vice Chairman, my brother is a doctor and has majority is drugs. I'll send the sample to his labs and he will test it and send us the report will that be okay?" 

"Secretary Y/n, You're the best!" he said and hugged me tight. This was the first time seeing my cold and arrogant boss being childish and cute. While Mr. Vice Chairman called his brothers to inform them, I called Jimin to inform about everything. He agreed on it and in return, I had to make him ramen for a whole month. Yes, my annoying wants something in return!

"Secretary Y/n, should I drop you home?"

"Mr. Vice Chairman I can-"

"Even if you say no, I won't leave you alone for two reasons. One, you helped me and I am extremely grateful and second, it's past 11 I can't let you go alone so get in the backseat, I'll drive you" he said and we went to his car

"Get in backseat, doesn't it give dirty thoughts? Wait, What the fuck was I thinking!?"  Removing all thoughts from my mind, I sat in the backseat while Mr. Vice Chairman drove me to my house.

[Time skip: next morning, Mr. Vice Chairman's cabin]

Taehyung's POV:

"Secretary Y/n is the best! She saved us from nearly a disaster" Jin Hyung said

"Hyung" I asked while sipping my coffee while both of them hummed in response

"How to face a girl after kissing her?" I asked and both of them spitted their coffee on each other

"What... what are you asking... are you okay?" Namjoon Hyung asked while coughing

"It's not for me! For my... long lost friend's brother" I lied

"Now I definitely want to know who is the long lost friend's brother, few days back he asked how to make her break up with her boyfriend and now a kiss?!" Jin Hyung said

"Just tell me, I'll introduce you later. So my long lost friend's brother called the girl in a park, he was crying...."

"Who was crying?" Jin Hyung interupted

"Long lost friend's brother. She came and asked him was he doing so he got up, pulled her closer and kissed her and she kissed him back. Now what should he do?" I asked'

"Confess to her" Namjoon Hyung said

"But my long lost friend's brother is not sure about his feeling nor about the girl. He just.. he just liked to admire her, he just cares for her, he just makes sure she is safe" I said while lost in thoughts. 

"So you should find ways to impress Secretary Y/n" Namjoon Hyung spoke

"Yes, wait what!? I wasn't talking about her" I lied again

"Taehyung, now stop with you and your long lost friend's brother! We know it's about you and secretary Y/n. We are not dumb!" Jin Hyung said and I just rolled my eyes

"Fine! Now tell me ways how to impress her"

"She's on a leave today right, to get the evidence and all?" Jin Hyung asked and I nodded

"Then, when she comes back she should see that you aren't that cold and arrogant Taehyung anymore instead you are a romantic and normal person" Namjoon Hyung said

"How to be romantic and normal person? Should I take a rose and sit on streets?"

"That's not what I meant! You're seriously dumb"

"Yah! You two never had a girlfriend, why am I asking you both" I said 

"Don't insult us! We are known as love matchers" Namjoon and Jin Hyung said

"You both, definitely need a doctor. I'll search it up on internet instead" with that I left

End of POV

[At Y/n's house, breakfast time]

I'm still confused. Mr. Vice Chairman is not the type of person to date someone, he loves his work and company more than anything but why did he kiss me last night? If he did it by mistake he should've apologized but he didn't, does he really like me? I was lost in my own world.

"....so, I was saying, Y/n?.... Y/n!" Jimin said as he shook me bringing me back to reality

"Why are you pouring water in cereal?" he said as I looked down and found myself pouring water instead of milk in my cereals. I sighed.

"Y/n are you okay? Jimin asked as I shook my head in a 'no'

"You see... I have a friend... and her boss kissed her but her boss is a workaholic and she is not sure if he truly likes her or is just playing with her because she is afraid to fall in love" I lied. Thankfully, Jimin is a bit dumb to find out if I was lying or not

"Okay, Mr. Vice Chairman kissed you and you're not sure about your feelings?"

"Yes, no what!?" I yelled not believing what he said

"Come on, you think I'm dumb?" he said and I shook my head in a 'yes'

"Yah! But why didn't you tell me!?" he said in a happy tone

"You're happy?"

"Until you're happy I am. You think I wouldn't accept it right? C'mon, I myself want you search for guy, marry him and get out of my house and never come back" he said

"Yah! You're the worst. Only if it wasn't for the medicine test I would've kicked you of the house out right now" I said and he started laughing

"Now tell me, how to find out if he truly likes me or not?"

"Okay, so if you want to find out if he truly likes you or not, then..."
