Eventually the thought of us not being together anymore won't hurt as much as it used to
Eventually the memories we made won't keep me up wide awake at night no more
They'll be just memories that happened in the past that must stay there
I won't dwell on our break up or grieve the loss
You'll just be somebody that I used to know
And I'll be just fine knowing that
Because once you were a stranger anyway
