'Messed Up' sbi adoption au

Okay so when I was writing the last few chapters I was in a very bad place mentally so I'm deciding to change it (I know I do that a lot) but this will be a lot better I'm sorry if you get lost I'll try to make it make sense <3

'So Tommy, today's the day you go home' Callahan walked in with a pencil and notepad

I just looked up at him and half smiled

'Here ya go bud' he said handing me a small paper cup of pills and then notepad to write with

~Thanks~ I wrote pouring out the pills onto my desk and colour co-ordinating them

It had become a sort of routine to me to count them and make sure they weren't going to trick me into taking some random pill

I looked up at him and nudged a small blue pill that didn't seem familiar to me

'It's the one that basically finishes your medication it's your last one'

I nodded taking it back and slowly putting them in order

'Hey kid I've asked before but why are you still not talking to me'

I shrugged and turned towards him notepad in hand

~I don't want to, it keeps me in control of something~

'Oh okay makes sense kiddo whatcha wearing for when you get to see all your family again'

~was gonna wear this~ I held up a white and red jumper that had bees along the bottom and a pair of black jeans

'Very nice so you looking forward to it?'

I nodded quickly, double checking all the pills were right and took them all with a sigh of relief

'Ok now that's over with let's get you packed aye?'

I nodded once again and Dr.Callahan stayed and helped pack until he was radioed to come to the front desk to talk to Phil

I sat on the bed which I had just made perfectly and sighed

I'd finally get to leave this hell

Go back to normal yknow

'Tommy you can come now' Callahan called

-Callahan P0V-
I walked out to see the blonde man with his signature bucket hat on

'Hey your Phil right?'

'Yeah are you the one who has had Tommy'

'Yes I am and I'd like to run a few things by you quick' Phil nodded as I began to explain

'Tommy has formed a coping mechanism in his brain which could stop him from communicating at the moment I have been using pen and paper to talk to him, also he has to stay away from sharp objects and try not to overwhelm him or get him into a situation that could stress him out'

'This is my number please contact me if you need anything, anything at all'

Phil smiled at me and agreed

I headed back to Tommy's room and called to him

'Tommy you can come now'

-Tommy P0V-
I ran up to Phil bouncing slightly beaming at him

'Nice to see you too Tommy' he said ruffling my hair

We left around 10 minutes after due to paper work

'So Tommy I know about your talking but the others don't so I'll let them know, you can use paper and pens for as long as you want until you cope-'

I had fell asleep by then

I felt safe again like I was going home finally after a long camping trip away from home and I was finally coming back

_At house de sleepy_

'Wil Tech Eret we are home'

I saw a very tired looking Wilbur come running up to me and crouch down hugging me tightly which caused me to giggle

'You alright Toms are you okay I'm sorry I wasn't a better brother I shoulda-' he then stopped rambling noticing how I was giggling so much

'What so funny kiddo?' A deep voice called causing my head to shoot up
Waving uncontrollably at Techno while smiling which caused him to let out a smirk

'Hey little dude you alright?' Eret said walking out of his room beaming to see me again

I held up a hand and quickly ran up to my room Not stopping but quickly grabbing a pen and paper

~I'm so happy to be home thank you guys~ i held it up to the others receiving a confused look

'Oh yeah sorry Tommy basically Tommy isn't speaking at the moment it's a way of him coping' he laughed as he said it
As I was nodding along

'Oh that's cool little bro c'mere' Wilbur said beckoning me over to the sofa

'You'll never guess what I did'

I shrugged wanting to know what he did

'I made us a song and I want you to play it with me' it took me a moment to realise what had happened then but after the second it took to process I hugged Wilbur never wanting to let go

'Ok ok Tommy why don't you go get some sleep' Phil said pulling me off of Wilbur so I didn't break him

I once again giggled and skipped towards the stairs wandering up them getting some weird stares from behind

'Is it just me or is Tommy acting alot younger then before?'Techno asked towards the other three in the room

'I don't know I think it's sweet' Eret said

'I'm worried about him getting overwhelmed so let's try to just get back to normal hey?' Phil said
