(Katniss' POV)
Another bang... I don't know if it's my head or if I'm actually hearing this. I hear Haymitch say something but I start slipping in and out of conciousness. The next thing I know the room goes dark.
(Haymitch's POV)
I shoot Vanessa in the leg to paralize her and then again in the shoulder. she screams in pain and I yell "Get out Katniss! Now!" but out of the corner of my eye I see her on the floor. The panic must be getting to her or maybe a reaction to whatever Vanessa gave her. "Is something wrong Haymitch? Is your little mockingjay knocked out?" Vanessa says. "shut up Vanessa you're done for. I'm taking you and locking you up forever." I reply. "Now, now no need to be rude or to go to the trouble of locking me up. Goodbye Haymitch." I lunge at her but out of nowhere a hovercraft appears and breaks through the roof and takes Vanessa away. "Damn it she escaped it." I say and grab Katniss and start towards home.
