It all stared with my aunt trying to set me up with her friend's son. Little did I know I would fall for him let alone for him to be the caption of the Dallas Stars.

J: my neighbour helped me I texted him when you were doing your interview. You're lucky someone canceled their event and he had all these extra flowers.
L: It is perfect thank you Jamie.
I turned around and hugged him
J: anything for you.
L: umm before we start did I feel a dog when I walked in?
J: yeah that was Boy. You want to meet him?
L: of course! He was so quiet I almost didn't know he was there until he ran into my legs lol
J: yeah I was trying to get him to move but he was very curious as to who you were
We walk back I and I see one of the cutest dogs I've ever seen.

L: hey Boy!!
I bend down to pet him and he was so excited. He licked my face and he was the cutest thing ever.
L: what is he?
J: I adopted him from the animal shelter so they don't really know but they think he is a pit bull and beagle mix
L: yes but I want to see what you have planned so maybe I'll play with him later.
J: lol ok
Jamie leads me outside again and it's still kind of bright out. He leads me to this cabana type thing and pulls out the chair for me
J: ok so to start off since I'm hungry let's eat but before we start what would you like to drink?
L: I'm ok with anything
J: ok I'll surprise you again ;)
Jamie gets up to get the drinks but before he walks off.
L: hey Jamie?
J: yes?
L: can I use your bathroom?
J: of course I'll show you
L: thank you and also... can we bring Boy out here as we eat?
J: yes we can 😂
Jamie and I walk back into the house and boy is going crazy. Jamie tells him to calm down and he does
L: he is so well trained.
J: yeah he honestly came like that he a really good Boy
Jamie shows me to the bathroom and I close the door behind me and all I hear is
J: no Boy you can't follow her in there. If you want to sit there go ahead
I then hear Jamie walk away laughing.
I go to the bathroom and wash my hands then I look at myself in the mirror. I honestly had more makeup on then I was used to since I had an interview. I started to blend some of the eyeshadow and conceal out with my finger to make it less intense
I decided I can't just spend all the time in the bathroom so I open the door and I see Boy sitting there waiting for me
L: hi boy. Where's your dad?
I guess boy understood and started to lead me to where Jamie was
L: hey
J: hey I guess Boy lead you back here?
L: yeah he was waiting for me
J: I think he likes you. Which is rare since he is usually super shy and distant from people beside me and the family
L: well I'm glad he likes me because I like him too
J: you want to go eat? I sure you're hungry it's been a few hours and I know you like to eat every hour.
L: you know I feel like you are making fun of me but I don't really care because I am hungry.
J: I knew it. This is why we get along we both like to eat.
We both sit down
J: ok so I got food from my favourite place here in Dallas it's the best Texas style barbecue
L: omg this looks amazing
J: it really is. So we have the brisket, mash potatoes, corn, salad, we also have chicken and rib eye and I got us some sangria to go with everything
L: Omggg Jamie this is amazing. You really didn't have to do all of this
I really didn't understand why he would be trying this hard.
J: I know I didn't have to but I wanted too.
L: thank you
I can tell I'm blushing. This was so sweet. We talked, and ate and had a great time.
L: this was amazing
J: it really was
L: so since it's still bright out and you know we can't watch a movie in the day time...
J: oh boy what do you have planned?
L: well I was thinking.... Maybe I could cut your hair...?
J: this whole time you were thinking about my hair?
L: well no but I was thinking about it as I was eating dessert
J: you know my sister and mom have been on me about this. They said I couldn't go on the trip with them if I didn't.
L: well I guess since the trip is in like a week maybe this is a good thing
