"Chaerin, I love you, but it's been four days already" Soyeon said, pulling off the blanket off Chaerin who was once again laying on her couch and wasting her week away watching gossip girl.
"Are you even listening to me?" Soyeon asked with hands on her hips
"Yeah yeah, go to school, get off your couch, it's been four days" Chaerin said, taking a stale handful of popcorn she had last night and popping it into her mouth.
"Okay you know what? That's enough. I'm sick and tired of seeing my best friend get all mopey and depressed over some stupid bo-"
"He wasn't stupid" Chaerin said cutting her off
"You know....I like Mark too. But you need understand that he didn't leave you just so you can lay around like this. He ended things so you can have fun and find other people to have fun with!" Soyeon said
"Now go take a shower!" Soyeon ordered making Chaerin roll her eyes
"Why?" She asked, uninterested.
"Because you are getting a total makeover and you're going to a party with me" she said with a smirk
"Okay absolutely not" Chaerin said
"Oh just shut up and come on! Its gonna be the biggest party this year. Plus you already know my brother has a thing for you right? They'll definitely let us in if your going" Soyeon said excitedly
"Okay hold up... your brother and his friends throw parties that end up with trouble and the cops outside the door. If my parents find ou-"
"Your parents are always on a business trip and they are not gonna find out. Plus it's at the house next to mine so if you want to leave then we can just stay at my place for the night" Soeyon said and Chaerin thought long and hard whether it was a good idea or not before slowly nodding her head. A high pitched squeal erupting from Soyeon
"I am going to make my brother go head over heels for you" she said making Chaerin roll her eyes
"Yeah I am not getting with your brother. I've literally known him since I was a kid" she said
"Yeah well tonight....you're definitely not the little girl he remembers you as" Soyeon said, pushing Chaerin up the stairs and towards her bathroom.
Stepping into the shower and being met with ice cold water was definitely a wake up call. Washing her hair and body with her signature coconut scented products, she finally felt clean after days of sleeping in and wasting her life away.
"Jesus my hair hasn't been this smooth in days" Chaerin said with a slight chuckle as she stepped out with a robe covering her body as she saw Soyeon laying on her bed
"And I haven't seen you smile in days" Soyeon said with a proud tone in her voice, sitting up and grabbing the necessary hair tools.
Playing a spotify playlist that had more jumpy and hype songs, Soyeon made it comfortable for Chaerin to relax and get excited for the night ahead. Just two best friends, getting ready for a friday night party.
"I'm not wearing that" Chaerin said looking at the tight black dress Soyeon had pulled out from her closet
"Okay well first of all, it's the sexiest dress you have and you have never worn it before because you never had a chance to......and now.....you have a chance to" Soyeon said smirking
"......no" Chaerin said, looking at the dress she had bought to wear to a party with Mark once, a party they never had a chance to go to because Mark wasn't the type for parties
"Chaerin..... theres no way you're going to get a boyfriend without showing off your body! Ever since you got with mark you've been wearing his clothes religiously, wear this dress or I'll burn all of his hoodies" Soyeon said making Chaerin roll her eyes with a sigh and taking the dress from Soyeon. It fit her curves in all the right places yet she didn't feel quite 'herself' yet.
"See! You look great!" Soyeon said clapping her hands excitedly before pushing Chaerin towards the vanity table and placing makeup over her skin.
"you look........hot" Soyeon said, eyeing the girl she barely even recognised now that she was in something other than a chocolate stained large hoodie
Her long black straight hair complimenting the dress that hugged her body in all the right places, the black heels that added extra height to her and made her look confident paired with the red lip. Chaerin finally felt confident, more confident than she even looked at this moment.
"I know" She replied, with a slight smirk making Soyeon drop her jaw
"This was a makeover but I think you have a new personality" she said with a chuckle before getting herself ready around the room, borrowing one of Chaerin's dresses.
"So.....should we have some alcohol before we go?" Soyeon asked making Chaerin sigh
"Fill it up" she said although she was never a fan of alcohol, making Soyeon giggle
"I like the new Chaerin"
