Hide and seek

The End

Eli sighs. "No." he doesn't lower his gun. "You will help us destroy every single one of your demons." He grins. "And then you will die, painfully and horrifically. Even with your death it won't make up for what you have done."

The man sneers. "You are utterly pathetic and stupid! What makes you think I will help you?"

"Once everyone finds out that you created the ones that have slaughtered their families and ruined their lives. Everyone will want your blood. I will give you over to them unless you help us, believe me it would be a blood bath." Eli smiles sadistically.

The man bows his head. "What must I do?" He snaps, looking away from Eli.

"Is there anyway you could call all of them? Some way where you could get them all back here? And a place where you could fit them all?" Eli asks.

The man scowls at Eli and laughs. "No."

"He's lying. There are some specially engineered warehouses where he created them. They are not far from here." The woman blurts out, flinching when her husband steps towards her.

"Thank you." I smile, placing my hand on her shoulder. "What's your name?"

"Lisa and my.. husband is called Samuel." Her lip trembles.

"Don't call me that, you hideous excuse for a woman. You are no longer my wife." He barks, causing Lisa to cower in fear.

"Stop!" Eli roars, smacking the side of Samuel's head with the rifle.

"Can you bring them back?" Riley asks, stepping forward.

Samuel looks at him up and down. "Only those within a couple of miles."

"Well we will have to start with those and then move across everywhere that has been affected after." Eli snaps. "Which will take pretty much forever."

"Why did you do it?" Riley asks, looking at Samuel in utter contempt like the rest of us.

A cruel smile spreads across Samuel's lips as he leans over. "Why not?" 

Eli fires the rifle, deafening my ears, into the man's foot causing him to howl in pain. "Why the FUCK did you do that?" Samuel screams, clutching is bleeding foot.

"It was either your foot or your dick. I figured you would be less eager to help us if I choose the second option." Eli snarls, pointing the rifle towards Samuel's face, dying to pull the trigger like the rest of us.

"Tell me why." Riley snaps, his voice shakes so I take his hand.

"Scientists experiment on animals, I decided to have a go myself. The world had become a hideous place compared to like it used to be. I created a new age, just like God. He wiped out those with a flood, I chose a more suitable way." Samuel grins.

Rage burns throughout my entire body, I actually shake with anger. I notice the others are as well, we all stand staring down at the man who has ruined all of our lives. We all want our revenge but we would have to wait.

"You should never have been born, there are no words to describe how truly evil you are and how much I hate you." I snarl, glaring at Samuel. Having to mentally restrain myself against grabbing Eli's rifle and shooting Samuel in the brain.

"I do not care what any single person on this earth thinks about me. I have successfully accomplished what I set out to do, I can die a happy man." Samuel laughs.

"Well go on then, lead us to the warehouses." Eli growls, prodding him with the rifle.

"How do you expect me to walk when you shot my foot?" Samuel barks.
