During sleepless nights like this
I need you to reassure me
This isn't what is, your love is
In your open arms I can flee
In your safety my tears flow
Feeling high, no longer low
I know it isn't fair
As these are my issues to bear
I apologize for my issues from the past
Every time you have to deal with them
But I will keep working on myself
So they won't, instead we will last
Please tell me you need and desire me
Please tell me I'm what you want me to be
That I am good enough
Especially when times are rough
So that I have no doubt anymore
We can be forevermore
I know we will take turns
As sometimes it is your world that burns
A little confusing beforehand
But let me take your soft hand
I will guide it to my heart so you can feel
