(Y/N) stared at the last message with a light smile. She couldn't help but feel curious as to what Suna had planned for later, hopefully it wasn't anything too bad. She still had a bit of time to spare so she headed to the kitchen to look for a small snack. Deciding on an apple, (Y/N) quickly ate it before grabbing all of her belongings she would need for later.

She quickly texted her mom saying she would be back soon since her mom would work later hours. Her father was currently in Mexico for business so that would leave the girl by herself most of the time.

There was no breeze today which disappointed the girl. That left (Y/N) vulnerable to the elements of summer. The summer heat has always bothered (Y/N). She preferred the frigid winter weather because she was able to cover up more and use all sorts of sweaters. The intense summer rays would either leave her sweating or dying of thirst. The humidity of the air always felt disgusting and the fact that her hair would always friz up because of the heat made her cringe.

Arriving at the park she noticed that it was nearly deserted, apart from a few children playing in the playground. She wandered aimlessly around the public space in search of the dark brown haired boy. He hadn't told her where he would be so she just decided to admire the flourishing trees while in search. Approaching the volleyball nets she saw in the distance a familiar figure sitting down on a red blanket. She saw that had a backpack beside him and that he was surrounded by a few snacks and drinks.

Making her way over, Suna looked up from his phone and smiled at the girl.

"Took you long enough", Suna playfully teased.

"Well I wasn't sure where you would be".

"Well why didn't you ask".

(Y/N) didn't reply because she had completely forgotten that she could've just asked Suna where he was. She rolled her eyes playfully and sat down on the blanket.

"Well I forgot, but it was nice looking at the trees. Plus it wasn't crowded so it was nice".

Suna chuckled and handed (Y/N) a bottle of FIJI water. She thanked him and she began taking out the papers and laptop to start the project. Suna did the same and they began working on the remaining parts of the assignment. While the two were taking a small break, she decided to break the silence.

"So, what's in the bag?", she said, ushering to the black bag beside the boy.

"Well it's a surprise. I'll show you once we're done with the project".

She nodded in agreement and began working on finishing the assignment. While you were working, you took notice that Suna would occasionally stop doing his work and stare at you. Whenever you would glance at him he would quickly turn his attention back to his laptop. You smiled to yourself before doing some last finishing touches to your slides.

"Finally", you heard Suna say.

He stood up from the blanket to stretch and drink some water. He sat down again and opened a bag of chips that was on the blanket and began eating them.

"Are you done?", he asked.

"Yeah, I just need to finish this last sentence".

He hummed in acknowledgement before going back to the bag of chips in his hands. You quickly finished and let out a sigh.
