I click my tongue in frustration and Tyler does his warm smile. "Don't worry, hun. You know I can ride like lightning. I'll get you there in no time."

"What about your job?" I say as I step out with my things.

"Don't worry about me. Let's get you to your job first."

He starts his car and I quickly say, "Your wallet."

"Oh!" He does a small cackle as he gives my cheek a kiss. "That's why I need you." I smile at his words and watch him run back into the house. He soon runs back out with his silly smile and wallet in hand.

We arrive at my job with a few minutes left for the meeting to start. I quickly start to get my things and give Tyler a quick kiss.

"Okay, baby. Thank you so much. At what time do you get out of work?"

"Around seven in the evening. But call me when your out, honey. I'll come racing to pick you up."

I chuckle at this and give him another sweet kiss just for a good day. Then I pull away and start at the entrance. "I love you! I'll call you once I'm out!"

"I love you more. Don't you forget, city girl."

Once again, I'm saved by a tiny bit as I slip in with the last person. Gail sees me from afar and smiles. Her eyes twinkle teasingly and I know what her mind is doing. Anna once again has saved me a seat by her side and I give her a thankful smile for it. But then, Fabio's fiery eyes find me. I quickly look away.

I keep in mind what Tyler said yesterday throughout the day. Fabio seems to roam more the floor so I keep my door closed. There's a moment when I hear footsteps stop in front of my door. They don't come in. At first, I thought it was Anna but I recognize those black shiny tips.

I gulp as I watch Fabio's shoes walk away. What is his problem with me?

Luckily, that was the last time I saw him for the rest of the day. Seven in the evening arrives and I make my way to Gail's office to say my usual goodbye. Today I hear little voices as I open the door and smile at her two little kiddos.

"Hey, babies!" I say as they run to give me a hug.

Gail giggles as I return their embrace and says, "You're off home?"

"Yup! My cowboy will be waiting outside."

"You have a cowboy?!" her little boy says with a big smile.

"I do!" I happily say.

"Does he have horses?!" the little girl says this time.

"Yup. But they're far far away."

"Can he bring them here?" she sweetly says. "Because I want to feed it cookies!" She giggles and I laugh with her.

"Don't worry," I say to her. "I'll ask him if he can bring a horse just so you can give it cookies."

"Yay!" they both say with a happy jump. Gail shakes her head with a smile and says to them, "Alright. Back to your spots. Remember that mommy isn't boss yet, so don't break anything."

"Excuse me," I teasingly say at her words.

She stands from her desk with a smile and says, "Someday. And you'll be my second!"

I laugh at this and shake my head. If only...

"So how come Tyler is picking you up? Is it just a romantic gesture or..." Her eyes sparkle and I give her shoulder a soft push.

"Careful now. We have kids in the room. But my car actually died on me this morning so he'll pick me up."

"Oh. How unfortunate. But Anna's husband is actually a mechanic. Maybe you could ask her for some help."
