Ten years ago, Teen Wolf aired for the very first time. Ten years ago, my life was changed alot, all because I decided that I was going to try my hand at fanfic again (even though I had already had issues with writing it before). Surprisingly, Carson Bradley was a character who stuck, enough to fill two and a half books. She was oblivious and ridiculous and cliche and insecure and funny and sarcastic and wonderful all at once. One of the best parts of my time on this website is seeing how all of you resonate with her story, how you react to it, how it makes you laugh and cry and become frustrated and happy. It's meant everything to me to be a part of your lives in one way or the other.
(Also technically June 5th is this account's anniversary — well, the anniversary me coming back after impulsively deleting for a few days that one time in 2014 but either way this account is 7 years old today but the account being created on June 5th and lining up with Teen Wolf's original airdate is just so fucking funny to me like this show will not let me go.)
In the last note I left on here, I made it clear that Stiles and Carson were not going to be endgame and that the overall plan for the future seasons was to put Carson with Malia. I've always seen Carson as a bisexual woman, even if I never got around to delving into that part of her life, but I knew that having her explore her sexuality and having her fall in love with Malia was ultimately the path that this series would take.
I've gotten comments before asking if I'd ever consider writing something to wrap the series up or show Carson with Malia and I've always said no. However, if you follow me on Tumblr, you know that every so often I reblog like prompt lists and stuff to write OC content and the other day I actually did something I wouldn't have expected: I wrote a goddamn Carson freaking Bradley drabble in 2021. And I figured, given that today is the 10th anniversary of this show, I'd post it here for everyone to enjoy.
Just as a warning, this is not my best work. It's short and maybe a little rushed. It's not nearly as fleshed out as I would have made it if I was still writing this series. But it's a little nugget of Carson and Malia and I actually enjoy how it came out. Either way, I hope you enjoy it!

Carson Bradley was having a situation.
She didn't do situations.
Clammy hands and racing heart beats and flustered butterflies weren't her usual. In fact, the last time she'd ever felt this way was when she had realized she liked Stiles ... you know, before he broke her heart. And she had sort of felt this way with Isaac for a bit, but that had panned out into nothing.
