PERSONALITY ; marisol is a goofy, sweet, smart, kind soul. unless you get on her bad side, you won't like her very much. she'd do anything she could to protect the people that she cared about and would stand up for them in any way she could possible. people who are really really nice make her sick because those are the people that get pushed around. she wants people to stand up for themselves and not be wimps.

BACKSTORY (tw // mentions of abuse) ; marisol was born on june 1st in the chicago hospital. she had a pretty decent childhood until she was five. she moved to beacon hills. she met stiles at school, he was a sand eater. it amazed her, yet disgusted her at the same time. one night, when she was about to fall asleep, she overheard arguing from her parents.

it was mostly her dad's fault so she went to see what they were fighting about this time. when she came into the room, she saw her father pusher her mother. being the mami's girl that she was, she screamed "leave mami alone!" and he was suddenly thrown across the room. she was furious. that's how she discovered her powers.

long after her father was gone, she was taught more about her powers by her mom as she was revealed a family (on her mother's side) secret. when she felt the time was right, at ten years old, she told stiles about it and he didn't believe. so once she proved it, he was beyond amazed by what his best friend could do. later on down the road of life, she met scott and lydia.
