"How is everyone's project coming?" He asks propping his arms over his desk.

"Great." Everyone says deadly. Most people have been acting like this for a while, ghost like. Wonder what's up their butt.

Ciara nudges me.
"Wanna come to the beach with us after school?" She turning her body backwards to face me.
"Us?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
"Yes us, because guess what?" She says grinning.
"What?" I ask kind of scared now. What if she invited some drug dealer? Knowing her, she goes to the extreme sometimes.

"Kayleigh and Jacob are in town!" She says squirming in her seat. My eyes widen with excitement.

Kayleigh and Jacob were my old neighbors that moved away my sophomore year, so two years ago.
Kayleigh's a junior, and Jacob is a sophomore in college. We used to be so close growing up, but then their father got a promotion and whatnot so they had to move to Seattle. Ciara and I use to go to their Josie everyday after school to eat chocolate chip cookies and and play hide and seek in their backyard. Most of my best memories were with them. It's great to hear they're visiting.

"Omg! Seriously! I miss them so much!" I say squirming in my chair along with her. They never texted or called me to tell me they were In town.

"Wait, how do you know they're in town?" I ask.

"Well, it was supposed to be a surprise but I spoiled it. I'm so terrible." She says shrugging her shoulders.

"Well I'm glad you told me." I lightly smack her shoulder.

I check my phone to see if either of them tried to contact me.

Zero messages or calls.

Go figures.
I let out a sigh and continue writing for my assignment.

I place the end of my pencil in between my teeth, trying to focus. I glance up at mr. Randell. He's glarring at me with a smirk. I smile at him, taking the pencil out of my teeth and biting my bottom lip instead. His face goes blank as he swallows. He adjusts his grey tie and coughs, then he rubs his thumb over his bottom lip. That full, soft, warm lip. Now it's my turn to suffer. I cross my legs and continue my work. This isn't the time to be playing flirty games in class, anyone could become suspicious if they're eyeing us.

*Bringggggggg"

The bell rings and everyone rushes out of class.

"Ms.monroe." Mr Randell calls out.

I turn my gaze towards him.
"Please come receive your assignment back." He says holding out a paper.

Assignment? Oh I see what he's doing.
Ciara nudges me, winks and mouths 'meet me at my car when your done'
I roll my eyes to her and walk towards his desk. The door closes as Ciara is the last one to leave.

"Yes mr Randell?" I say sitting on top of one of the front desks.

"Well do you have any plans?" He asks sitting on the edge of his desk.

"Yes actually. I'm going to the beach with a few friends." I say.

"That's nice. Don't get yourself in any trouble." He steps towards me coming close to my face.
"And don't flash anyone." He says winking and pecking a kiss on my forehead.

"You seriously think id flash my boobs to some horny teenage boys?" I ask laughing.

"No. Just don't want you to get in any trouble or do anything stupid."
I love it that he gets worried about me so easily. It's great to know there's someone who actually cares somewhat about me. "Give me a call if you wanna get together.
