Hey y'all
Alright so, I wanted to address a few things before I started this book and I thought adding an Author's Note at the beginning would clear some things up for you all as well. So here we go
1. I'm going to begin this book by saying that I do not appreciate hate comments. And I'm not talking about constructive criticism. If you bully someone in the comment section or talk hateful towards anyone, your comments will be deleted and you will be blocked
2. I have never properly written a book like this before and this is the first time I'm trying out this royalty/ mystery/ teen romance book so bear with me here while I try and get the hang of things.
3. If my work is edited, I'll mention it at the top but im a busy high school student with exams coming up next month so most of the times I'm really busy and dont get the chance to re read the chapter. So if you see any grammar mistakes or anything at all, please point it out and I will correct it.
4. Please don't copy my work. I come up with my own ideas for books, and I spend a lot of time working on them along with my aesthetics etc. and I really don't appreciate plagiarism. Also no translations of any sort are allowed without my permission. If you do any of the above, without my knowledge, I will not hesitate to track you down, and chop your head off and gut your insides.
5. There will be mentions of self harm in the book as well as depression but I will make sure to put trigger warnings in the start if you would like to skip that bit. I understand that these topics can be very sensitive for some people and are not to be handled lightly so I just wanted to mention it to you in the start just in case.
6. Now, we get to the more mature part. I don't necessarily swear too much in real life.. tbh I only swear when I'm alone cause my parents would whip me and kick me out if they heard me say the workds I say. My dad gets pissed when I use the word "heck" so as you can see I have strict parents in that genre. There will, although, be a little but of swearing in this book. Just to spice things up a bit yk.
7. Now, I, as a person, don't believe in sex before marriage but since I'm a writer, and I have to think and write outside the box, there will be a few, and I mean tiny, steamy scenes in this book but I'll leave most of it up to imagination. Just an FYI . Loads of adorableness and fluff tho so I'm pretty sure that'll cover up the lack of smut. They will probably do the deed but I won't give too many details cause I feel a little uncomfortable writing it
8. There will be comedy and loadsss of sarcastic and dark humor moments cause your girl loves that kinda stuff.
9. Alright so I just wanna clear up that my mfc is going to be strong and sarcastic and sorta independent. Like her freedom and individuality matters most to her (cause same) and you'll find out a little more in further chapters, why. Also she won't be naive. I really dislike it when there's something right in front of the mc's in books and they're like "What? Where? No wayyy. Okay I'm gonna pretend I never saw that and pretend I'm absolutely blind" so she won't be oblivious. Besides a little bit tho cause we have to make the story prolong a little and otherwise there wouldn't be any problems or solutions if ygwim
10. Okayy so this book is pure fiction. The characters are of my own imagination and are not to be related with anyone in real life. If they act like someone you know irl, then that is an act of pure coincidence.
11. This is my own fantasy world so the rules in real life, don't apply here. I'll create my own rules and so if you see something weird or out of the ordinary or something seemingly different, that's because it's probably not real and is made up. Also there might be a sprinkling of supernatural here and there as well😌
12. I don't have a final point but I made a point #12 cause I couldn't just leave it at point #11 cause it has to be even so yk.. umm.. hi? Oh and also this story will probably be around 35-45 chapters. Not too long and not too short. And it will alternate between Ethan's POV and Athen's POV. Mostly Athena tho. I'll mention it in the start in bold about whose pov it is.
So yeah pfft. Oml I just spent like 45 minutes on that. I'm gonna go and study now for a bio test I have coming up. And do my homework. So. Much. Homework😃🔫
