Little Romeo barked and ran towards Swayam. Swayam kneeled down to pet him and he licked his hand in return.

"You are the only one who remembers me, my boy!" Swayam said loud enough, carrying him up in his arms and cuddling in him. Sharon adored the adorable duo in front of her eyes. Taani rolled her eyes at the drama.

"Cut the drama! Don't you guys wanna reach in time for this big event?" Taani asked and everyone moved towards the door. Swayam gingerly kept Romeo on the ground but he seemed reluctant to get down. He always sensed when someone was going out of house and didn't like it at all.

"Be a good boy and don't trouble Robin. We will be back in few hours." He caressed his head lovingly as everyone moved out one by one. He bid a final bye to him and slid in the driver seat. He smiled once at Sharon who sat beside him and drove out of their driveway.

As soon as they reached the venue, they could see the flashes of light from the reporters. Sharon got nervous but Swayam held her hand, kissing the back of it and blinking his eyes in assurance. Swayam got down and moved towards her side to open her door meanwhile rest of the family members got down themselves. His bodyguards made sure they weren't swarmed by the media people and both of them walked inside, hand in hand.

As they entered the perfectly decorated huge conference hall, the gang's eyes met theirs and they rushed towards him, tackling Sharon with their hugs because Swayam wanted to maintain his so called business attitude. The Mehra's too walked towards them and Sid hugged Swayam, irrespective of his glare in return. He moved to his Pia and engulfed her in a bone crushing hug. Yes, he still called Sharon as Pia because that was who she was to him, his sister first before anything else.

After exchanging some pleasantries, they all dispersed and they took the front two rows, reserved for them already. The function began and Swayam was growing nervous by each passing minute. Even though he was one of the most famous businessman, known for his confidence, he couldn't help but feel nervous. Afterall, it was the award ceremony, where he will be awarded the best in his field. He was a little nervous also because his Sharon was attending this ceremony with him. He has been to numerous award functions but none of them felt like this. Sharon slid her fingers in his palm and interlaced their hands, squeezing it and silently telling him that she is there.

"The Businessman of the year Award goes to Mr. Swayam Shekhawat, CEO of Shekhawat Industries. His determination and excellent leadership qualities took the Shekhawat Industries to great heights and expanded his business to into various dimensions. His vision,  hardwork and focus is what made him the best in this field. I request Mr. Shekhawat, the very deserving person, to come on the dais and receive the award." The anchor announced and Swayam made his way to the stage. He was handed the beautiful award and Sharon blinked back her tears as her chest swelled with pride for her husband seeing the crowd cheer and applaud him enthusiastically. He was requested to speak a few words and he walked to the podium.

"Hello everyone! Thank you so much for this honour! Honestly speaking, the anchor has simply built a mansion of words and made me look this huge businessman guy..." He gave a paused and the audience chuckled at it.

"But I was just a normal boy who had dreamt and achieved it for him and his family... I am short of words today as nothing can express how special this is for me." He expressed, not knowing what to say and his eyes fell on Sharon.

"The first person with whom I shared my first plan of this very business, the same person is sitting right in front of me now, smiling from ear to ear. Yes, she is my dear wife. My mom, dad, sister, my whole family is behind this and it wouldn't have been possible to achieve this success without them. Thank you so much! It means a lot to me." He got a little emotional and gulped down the lump rising in this throat.
