thirty one

"raelynn-" dream whispered, poking her shoulder.

she groaned and rolled over, landing on the ground.

"what the fuck-" she mumbled.

dreams wheeze brought her to reality.

"wait where the fuck am I?" she said, rubbing her eyes.

"you're in karl's livingroom." dream replied.

she furrowed her brows and sat up. dream was sitting across from her on the floor and there was nobody else to be seen.

"why?"

"we stayed up all night playing monopoly and you crashed on the sofa."

"oh. where are the others?"

"they went out to get breakfast and are bringing it back now." he said, glancing at his phone screen.

"what time is it?"

"like eleven." he shrugged.

raelynn groaned.

"it's cold."

dream shrugged again. "sounds like a you problem."

"no seriously. I'm cold." raelynn frowned, gesturing to her tshirt and shorts.

he groaned and stood up. "okay, one second."

she rolled her eyes as dream ran upstairs.

he came back down with a purple mr. beast hoodie in his hands.

"here." he said, throwing it at the girl.

she caught it and raised a brow at him.

"it's karl's. he won't mind, trust me." he shrugged.

she nodded slipped it on, immediately warming up.

she picked up her phone from off of the coffee table.

we went out to get breakfast
but we're coming back now

rae smiled, she thought karl would be okay with it but she just had to make sure, she didn't want to make him uncomfortable in any way.

"d'you want coffee?" dream asked, standing behind the kitchen counter.

"uh, sure."

dream handed her the coffee and sat beside her on the couch.

he sipped at his own coffee as he watched raelynn turn around so that she was facing him.

"how long are you guys staying for?" she asked, looking at him intently.

"two weeks, so we have alot of time to set you and karl up" he joked.

"clay-"

"I'm kidding. we do have alot of time for that though." he winked.

raelynn scoffed and shook her head.

"you're such a dork." she muttered.

"Me? I'm the dork?"

"yes!"

"whatever." he smiled, rolling his eyes playfully.

"what's taking them so-"

raelynn was interrupted by the click sound of the front door opening.

the four boys came prancing inside with bags of food.

"morning rae!" sapnap chirped, planting himself between her and dream and handing them each their food.

"morning sap,"

after they ate their food they decided to watch a movie together.

raelynn had sat between dream and karl on the couch, her head was resting on dreams shoulder and karls arm was wrapped around her waist.

raelynn glanced up at karl to see he was glaring at dream. she raised a brow at him as he focused back on the movie.

he kept glancing back at where raelynns head was resting and couldn't seem to focus.

he finally gave in and pulled her closer, causing her head to move from dream's shoulder to his own shoulder. he had pulled her so close that there was barely any gap between where they sat.

dream glanced over and didn't really seem to care. if anything he was happy that karl was actually making a move.

karl looked down at raelynn adoringly. she was smiling at the TV screen. he couldn't quite tell if it was the movie that was making her smile or if it was him that made her smile.

either way, it wouldn't matter because he just liked seeing her smile.

around an hour later the movie had finished and they were all discussing their plans for the week.

"so what do you guys want to do tomorrow then?" karl asked.

"what about the beach?" george had asked. raelynn assumed it was because the weather where he lived was shit most of the time. but who knows? maybe he just wanted to go to the beach.

karl nodded and looked down at raelynn.

"d'you want to go to the beach tomorrow?" he asked calmly

"sure." raelynn nodded.

"we can pick you up at nine?"

"nine?"

"yes, nine."

"that's early."

"not really."

"yes really."

"so we're gonna pick you up at nine."

raelynn groaned but agreed.

"I think I'm going to head home now, guys. I'll see you tomorrow." she said, standing up and grabbing her keys and phone from the coffee table.

"okay, see you tomorrow." karl waved.

"at NINE!" dream called after her

"WHATEVER!"

drink water

eat food

take your meds if you
take them and of you haven't
already.
