3rd person's P.O.V

Shikamaru had finally got Temari caught up in his shadow possession

"Atta boy Shikamaru!"

Y/N cheered as she saw he lazy friend get ahold of his love-rival

"I probably look stupid to Y/N right now!"

In reality, Y/N admired Temari for all the thinking she did....even if she was a little cocky

"Wooohoo! You are awesome Temari!"

Temari and Shikamaru felt blush creep up their cheeks as they heard the E/C eyed girl praise them

"This is such a drag, I give up"

Shikamaru forfeited the match

"WHAATT!!?"

Shikamaru would have continued but he didn't have much chakra left. But he still felt he looked cool in Y/N's eyes

Sasuke's match was coming up soon and everyone was getting out of control

"I can't fight yet right?"

Everyone turned to the girl leaning on the railing

"What do you mean?"

Shino finally spoke while looking at the girl

"I have to fight with whoever wins the rounds"

A wave of realization hit them

"Who are you planning on taking?"

The girl smirked

"We'll see"

In the same moment a gust of wind blew in the arena with leaves and soon, Sasuke along with Kakashi were standing there

"Took ya long enough!"

Y/N chuckled as Kakashi yelled back

"You wouldn't believe the amount of traffic!"

Sasuke soon introduced himself and looked up to the H/L haired girl. She waved a little as she saw a small smile creep up his face. The whole arena had erupted into cheers

The match had now started. Gaara's sand had come out of his gourd and started dispersing

My P.O.V

I was further away from Kankuro and Temari. Sasuke had thrown some Shurikens towards Gaara, he had blocked it with his sand and created a sand clone.

The clone soon erupted sand from him stomach and Sasuke jumped upwards. They threw Shurikens at each other making them collide. As Sasuke went down, he kicked the clone and that took off his hands. Sasuke got back into position and went to punch the clone in the throat. Soon sand started wrapping itself around his hand. He used his free hand to punch the head of the Gaara clone making it explode. Sasuke ran towards him, ready to punch. Gaara placed a sand barrier in front of himself before the punch could come close
