They again boarded the bus. First destination was 'Talgad Fort'.
"Who the fuck planned this" Radha was angry. "Trek karne me kitni jaan jaati hai"
"Bas chakkar khake gir mat jana" Ritesh said.
"Nahi par sahi baat hai. Trek tha toh kal rakhna tha na. Subah subah start karte. Ab toh dopeher ho gayi hai" Prashant said.
"Are sir ne bola tha bahot easy trek hai. Sirf 45 minutes" Isha defended.
Sumedh cocked his brows. "Accha beta. Kabhi sinhgad toh chadha nahi hoga tumne aur yeh easy hai?"
"What's your problem? Sir ne bola hai to easy hi hoga. Unhone plan kiya hai sab kuch" Isha replied.
"Thik hai. Thik hai. Dekhte hai" Sumedh said. "Wo to shukar hai bahar barish nahi hai. Warna fisalan ho jati hai kitni"
Bus stopped and everyone stepped out. The fort was barely visible through all the trees and bushes.
"Yaha se hum trek start karenge. Trek easy hai. 45 minutes me hum upar pohoch sakte hai. Par tum log bahot aalsi ho, ruk ruk ke chaloge toh we will make it 90 minutes. Par usse jyada nahi." Anand sir said.
Sumedh rolled his eyes. "Over smart. Main toh trek 30 minutes me complete karunga"
"Yeah. We can see who's over smart" Prashant muttered.
"Sabko thik se instructions de diye the. Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, water bottles and everything. I hope everyone is equipped." Anand sir said.
Isha gasped as she remembered about her sunglasses. "Main to sunglasses resort me bhool gayi" she said to Radha.
"Oh no" They heard Nikita. "Main sunglasses to laayi hi nahi" She said to Sumedh.
"No worries baby. Tum mere pehen lo" Sumedh took off his sunglasses and made Nikita wear them. She smiled.
Radha waa about to tell everyone about Isha's sunglasses but Isha stopped her. "It's okay. Rehne do. Meri galati hai ki main bhool aayi. I'll be okay"
"Are you sure?" Radha asked. Isha nodded.
"Nikita agar tum slow chalne wali ho toh I can't help. Mujhe 30 minutes me trek complete karna hai" Sumedh said.
"Tum aisa mat samjho. Agar tum 30 minutes me complete karne wale ho to main bhi karungi" Nikita said with determination.
"Oho" Prashant said. "Yaha sab Mard Mavale bade khuddar hai. Yaha har ek din swaraj ka tyohar hai" He sang.
(Reference - Mard Mavale - Mavale means soldiers. In Maratha chhatrapati army soldiers were known as Mavlas.)
"Guys" Ritesh suddenly shouted and gained everyone's attention. "Hamare class ke power couple Sumedh aur Nikita ne pran liya hai ki wo yeh trek 30 minutes me pura karenge aur upar jake swaraj ka bhagwa jhanda lehrayenge"
Everyone cheered. Nikita widened her eyes in surprise and hid her face as she wasn't sure if she could do it. Sumedh was proudly standing there with a grin.
"Sumedh aur Nikita dil se swaraj ke Mard Mavale hai. Aai bhawani tum dono ke yeh pran pura karne ke liye taqat dengi. Jay Bhavani" Ritesh shouted
"Jay Shivaji" Everyone replied.
Anand sir handed him a saffron flag. "Jao. All the best" He said.
"Come on Nikita" Sumedh patted on her back. "We are gonna do it"
Isha and Radha were laughing as they knew about Nikita being unsure.
"Chalo. Baki ke sab bhi start karo trek" Anand sir ordered.
